I must admit that I do have a thing for girls with glasses, though it isn't some kind of a requirement for me to be attracted to them of course.

I don't need glasses myself, but I have a feeling I would look better with them. They are just quite an inconvenience to have to care for and carry around everywhere (I would imagine).

I prefer wearing contact lenses to wearing glasses. I can sort of see why people would prefer to wear glasses, but I feel that they don't suit me that well. I will wear glasses when I run out of contacts, but on the whole if I can avoid wearing them, I will.

People can look nicer with glasses on, though it really depends on who's wearing them.

One thing I don't like is when people wear fake glasses. Looking good in glasses is the tradeoff we get for having bad eyesight so they shouldn't be allowed to wear them.

Seriously though, it's burdening and insincere so I don't understand why people would wear them.

Sometimes I feel like people look better in glasses more often than I think they look better without them. Guys, girls, dogs, I think most people look better with them on.

Well...except for myself usually. I mean, I think I look okay, but I wouldn't wear them willingly when I have contacts instead.

Anyway, how do you feel about glasses? Whether your own, or how they look on other people.

I don't know how to explain it. I just find girls with glasses attractive and some guys with glasses slightly more approachable.

Nathans agrees.

Can depend on the glasses. Different faces suit different glasses, and some glasses should never have left the sketchbook.

Women look universally better in glasses, imo. I, however, look much better without glasses. I can't wear contacts though. Besides my intense aversion to putting my finger near my eye, I really only need glasses for driving, distance reading, and watching TV. And my job requires me to use a computer and having glasses on while using a computer causes headaches. It's much easier to just take my glasses off in such cases. Not to mention that I have a weird belief that overuse of my glasses will lead to a degradation of my amazing near sight.

Glasses, while being practical, do reinforce poor eyesight. I think they look great on people though.

I like myself with glasses. One because I can't see without them and two I look more attractive with them LOL.

I wear my Glasses every waking moment of the day and I never notice them (except right now, my periphery is ablaze with frame). But the thought of sticking lenses on my eyes icks me the hell out. Urrrrlgk! So Glasses.

It takes about 14 days to get used to them then it is no longer a problem.

I was an IT guy who sat around in front of my laptop all day developing ETL (particularly the T and L parts) scripts. Then I play videogames for a hobby. In my last check up, second, third and fourth opinions, it seems my eyesight is still 20/20. But still, better to err on the side of caution and got me some anti-glare, anti-radiation lens. And I look sexy while wearing them. Makes me look very professional.

I find I look terrible without my glasses. Also, I can't see crap without them, so there's that too.
What's weird is that I didn't like how I looked wearing them when I was younger.

The important thing about glasses is never wear them when meeting anyone for the first time. Next time they see you without them your face will look awkward. But if you present yourself without glasses and then turn up with them later on, all you get is a "Oh, you wear glasses".

When I was a kid I always always wanted to have glasses because my Mom wears glasses and I thought having glasses was really cool. Then my younger brother needed glasses (he never wore them despite not being able to see a foot in front of himself), then my dad needed glasses (just for reading due to age - he never wears them either) and now I'm the only one in the family that doesn't need glasses even though I was the only one that ever wanted them. Of course I grew up and learnt to appreciate the conveniences of good eye-sight but I still think glasses look kick-ass.

I love wearing my glasses when I can find them. I haven't seen my glasses since October when my mum re organised my room while I was at work. She thinks she did me a favour. Can't find half the things I've looked for. Including my glasses forcing me into wearing my contacts more often. Soon as I go in for a new appointment for my glasses I'm going to get a new pair. In a few months.

I think I could look good in them, because I can usually pull off most looks, but I would get contacts over glasses for the sole reason that having them on my face would probably annoy me, I could see how they would fall off a lot in the type of activities I usually do.

On other people though I could care less. On or off.

Dunno why but I just really dislike how glasses look on most people. I mean I'm not gonna stop anybody from wearing them or judge them , they usually need them, but purely aesthetically I dislike them.

Generally, yes, I really like glasses. I adore them on myself, can't imagine myself without them. My crush looks fantastic with them too, though she doesn't like them very much sadly.

Depends.

I find that when I wear glasses I get a tad more female (well, and male) attention in a nightclub or such and people tend to assume I'm younger, play an instrument, may experiment with drugs and I'm just generally more outgoing and 'cool'.

If I wear my glasses, though, people tend to think I'm older, more responsible and (I've found) are much more likely to employ me in interview situations. People will naturally come to ask me about computers (which I have no knowledge about), gay men and heterosexual women will consider me 'sweet' or 'cute' rather than attractive or sexy and that I'm probably more shy and bookish.

It's bizarre how much of a difference it seems to make on me. I'll wear glasses/contacts to suit my mood, but if I want to be taken seriously then I have to pop the glasses on.
