anywho, this was acctually a while ago, me and a buddy were playin the first Army of 2, and we were at the aircraft carrier, we get to the cutscene where you meet the admiral who was injured, only it had glitched, the admeral wasnt thier, you couldnt even hear his voice. it was just tyson and rios talking to themselves, and i realised, even without the admiral, the conversation still almost made sense, if you took into account that they were talking about how the admiral wasnt thier.
On the other side of the spectrum, still a while agop, we were trying to glitch on the first Resistance. It was verses, 1 on 1, at the busyard. My buddy had found away to get intop the water tower at ther far end of the map. But he wouldnt tell me how he accomplished it, so i spent the next few days trying to figure it out, no luck, kept going at it, still nothin, after about 3 months i had pretty much givin up, but then of course he told me how to do it. Really pissed me off once i realized how he did it.
so, to sum things up, have you ever experianced a glitch that made you laugh, or just piss you off because you couldnt pull it off?

destroy all humans 2 has a gun called the dislocator that would make people fly around and cause the ragdoll effect to go haywire. at one point in the game you have to talk to someone, but if you fire the dislocator and then talk to them the people would stop flying but still flop around and wouldn't stop. me and my mate got 8 ninjas flailing on top of a hill...that was a good day.

Awhile back while playing STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl I saved the game, went on then got blown away by some military guys. However, when I reloaded my game I was like 3ft away from where I was when I saved it and stuck in terrain. I usually cycle at least 3-5 save games so I can easily go back if I encounter a problem but I was immersed and forgot about it. I had to go back to and old save and had to play the last 2 hours over again.

Later, playing the same game I had carefully stealthed into an enemy base and then saved it. Got killed, reloaded it. However, apparently, when you load a game your character makes a noise or something and every time all the badguys in the area immediately became aware of my presence and came for me. This same type of problem has happened to me in several games.

Years ago when Killer Instinct was the rage in arcades, I encountered a hacked machine where Spinal would take nearly half your health with normal attacks. I told the dude working it was screwed up and he said "It supposed to be like that... new chip" My ass. I played that game like a maniac. Don't lie to me because you probably have an illegal machine.

A couple of times on a variety of games I've encountered a glitch where my save point is right before I die. Once on farcry I detonated a jeep just before the checkpoint. Every time that save was loaded a jeep fell on my character before I could move. It pissed me off at the time but now it's just amusing

i was playing RDR the other day online and some people i were playing with told me that if you throw dynamite and fire bottles at the house it breaks the windows so you can get in.i throw the stuff and get in the house. but you can't get back out and you have nothing to kill yourself with. for bonus points you can tell people they can get out if they shoot all the glass around the windows so they waste even more time.

A lot of funny ones in Fallout 3. More than once some protectron robot or a giant radscorpion came falling out of the sky, slamming into the ground. Especially the robots, with their chunky metal crashing noise.

Spawning as a tank in Left 4 Dead versus, ready to pound in some pathetic survivor's face, and being stuck in the ground, unable to move while the control meter slowly drains.

In Oblivion, apparantly the after effects of drinking so much skooma (accomplished by the replication glitch) is a huge ragdoll launch.

One time, in Halo 2, I was doing the mission where you have to go after the heretic with my friend, and so we both got in the banshees waiting for us. When we were flying over the bottomless pit, I shot his down, and he fell and died. When he respawned, he was on top of my banshee, just standing there, but not falling off. It was great.

Yeah how about this, spawning as a Tank in Left 4 Dead in the beginning of the Hotel level...
Survivors won't open the elevator door and 2 of our control meters goes down.
The AI takes control and the Tank dies instantly.
RAGE.

I played Spiderman 3 for the PS2 once. That whole game was a glitch.

For example: In the game, you can play in the black suit, but after you beat the game, you can't play in it anymore. Unless, of course, you collected, like, 300 tokens spread around the city. The glitch here was that one of the tokens was missing, and there was no way to tell which until you beat the game, and if this glitch happened, the only way to fix it would be to start all over again. You could collect 299 tokens and not be able to complete the game because of this. That was one of the like 607 glitches in that game.

In the original HALO on the PC, on the second level at the end where you have to get in the Pelican I just quicksaved and decided to go on a murder-rampage on the soldiers who had boarded. Anyways, they just started to fire (without getting up, like they did on another attempt to replicate), and suddenly the cutscene of the Pelican lifting off starts. With one complication: The Master Chief was still standing there as it flew off.

Then in Oblivion and Fallout 3, if you close the doors when there's a body in the way, the limbs like to get stuck in the door, and will begin flailing about when you open or close the door again.
Also in Oblivion, with either the Argonian or the Khajit sit down, sometimes their tails don't return when you get back up, ending in an awkward-looking tail position.

Final Fantasy Twelve, there is an area with moving block lifts, and I was playing the game, and stepped onto a little moving block lift, the lift moved off and left my character standing ther in thin air.

I found this frustrating as hell, but then it became really funny cause I could run about on thin air, and after about 5 minutes of running about on nothing my character completely random starts falling and disappears through the scene into complete black background.

It was one of the weirdest glitches I have ever seen. Lvl 0 anyone?

I loaded a save outside of Megaton in Fallout 3. It glitched and my character ended up halfway through the ground. I took a single step and he exploded into a red mist. I was terrified. It realoaded the save and worked fine afterwards. I laughed like a madman at that.
My current FO3 game is saved right outside of some place I went for Moira's book with robots SW of Megaton. I cannot play the game becuase everytime I load the save, my game freezes. I haven't played FO3 since with the exception of seeing if my save will play, which it never has. Stopped checking about 3 months ago - it showed up about 5 months ago.

One day while playing Halo I wanted to see if I could get a Ghost to the end of the "Assault on the Control Room" level. Turns out you can, though it takes some fancy wiggling to get it through some of the ramps. When I hit the door switch that finishes the level, I hopped back in the Ghost and floored it. When the cutscene started, the game teleported the Chief to where he needed to be, which turned out to be directly in front of the now riderless Ghost. Almost immediately the momentum of the vehicle resulted in crushing the Chief. The cutscene played as usual, except the MC was now a crumpled body on the floor. The game treated it like he was still alive though, with the camera panning to where he should be and even playing his dialogue at the appropriate time.

I was able to duplicate it for a friend of mine. We had a good, long laugh at it.
