I used to play it back in the days when it was free (Yes I am a cheaparse) and I still fondly remember making huge explosions. If the computer didn't crash then I failed.

I like messing about with WireMod. I made a bomb with a random number generator instead of a countdown - it goes off when the RNG matches a target number.
Later, I attached the detonator part of it to a giant cannon and used it to shoot skulls and bathtubs into a crows of zombies.

2. Awkward poses with ragdolls for a vid I'm working on.
3. A sled.
4. A fully functional hoverboard.
5. A giant person made out of ragdolls turned into statues.
6. An AA-gun.
7. An explosion-powered train.
8. *Insert contraptions made in online servers over a period of 6 weeks.*
If you can picture unimaginable contraptions, you can most likely build them in Gmod.
I'm joining that group for sure!

I made a plane. Entirely thrusters, no cheating. Could barrel roll, loop the loop (both ways!) and yaw. Then, I added an explosive spawner under each wing and strapped turrets to the nose. The body itself was actually a plane, from a model pack who's name escapes me.

and this is a fun one: Grab one of those big gas containers, turn it on its side, attach as many balloons as required and stick a rudimentary box underneath with an opening, so you can stand in it
Grab a sniper rifle, populate the ground below with enemies
You got yourself an African Safari hunting balloon!

Get a bunch of those little buzzy manhacks, and weld them together in a line. I'm talking about a 100 of them. Then nail one end onto the floor. Walk towards it, and each manhack tries to kill you whilst dragging along its friends. It looks like this

wait, do you have to own half life or any other valve game to run Gmod? if not, I know what I'll be doing with my afternoon.
