So guys, this summer I want to take a road-trip and see some of you wonderful people on the way

Starting from North Carolina, I plan on going all the way to California, and then back

Before this can happen, my dad needs the following info:

*Locations and dates
*Itinerary down to the day minimally
*Money, what is your budget for food and gas and other items
*Where are you going, etc.

With your help, we can get this done!

Since you are starting from N. C. and going West, I would recommend starting off at I-40 through the mountains, should be fun.

I wish I could be part of this, but I doubt that anyone knows me, and the simple fact that I'm under 18 makes things difficult.

I'm also not even sure I'm here for this summer. I'll update if plans change, which is mostly not going to happen from where I am.

I would be interested in meeting you, the only problem is deciding where. The most of the touristy places in my city are probably down town and I hate going anywhere near that section of town. Though we can work out details at a later point in time.

Washington state is nice, normally we have nice mild weather in the summers, and there is tons of wilderness and all sorts of things to do outdoors, but there isn't much to do in my neck of the woods here in Southeastern Washington (across the Columbia from Portland) unless you're over 21. Although if you like books and doughnuts, its a good place to spend a day, Voodoo doughnuts is pretty great (except for the dreadfully long lines), and Portland has the largest independent new and used bookstore in the world (or so they claim) Powell's City of Books, its pretty easy to spend an entire day there, just looking at all the cool books they have. Its nice, but if you're heading to southern California it would be rather out of your way.
