Indeed, "progression" is not just a linear or singular thing. It takes many forms, be it exploration, self-improvement, or character development. I agree that fighting games in particular have a ton of progression that only ends when you get as good at the game as you can ever be. And that's not to mention the tons of possible human opponents you might find out there.
BUt then the same can be applied to Goat simulator. After all, you can get good with controlling a jetpack. you can get good with your jumps.
After all

So in that sense, this game has progression as well.

I would really like to see a Jimquisition regarding the issues of I guess you'd call it "lazy satire" in games.

Other than that, the review left me confused and unable to decide how I feel about this specific game.
