This movie looks absolutely excellent!

Who else is going to see it on opening day?

For added discussion, what is your general opinion of the work of director Bobcat Goldthwait and how do you think this movie will hold up?

I haven't seen much of his work, but what I've seen has been excellent. I expect this to be my favorite movie of his and generally one of my favorite films ever made.

The cynical, jaded, "I may or may not have totally fantasized about this before," side of me finds the idea of this movie humourous. Though I'll probably just wait for it to hit the bargain bins before I see, doesn't look like something worth the $25 to go see it in theatres.

Haven't seen his other stuff, but if this movie is really a revenge fantasy type movie and that's not the framing device for some other storyline (like something overly sentimental involving the girl he meets in the movie, though I admit that could be well done), then I will enjoy this movie far more than any sane person should. When watching the trailer, it felt like someone ripped that movie out of my brain, and I am really anxious to see it.

Probably not many people because it doesn't exactly scream "Give me 3,000+ theaters with a wide release!"

With that said, if it does go wide, I'll see it in theaters (although it has been confirmed to start limited). Considering how that doesn't seem likely, I'll probably be catching it on DVD (or VOD, which is actually how it's going to be released before it hits its limited theatrical release).

If its playing near me, I'll definitely go see it. I love black comedy, and this seems like its right up my ally, even if it didn't have a premise that I find more alluring than any human being should.

So it's some middle-aged dude and a teenage girl going around shooting random people? Charming.

I'm intrigued but not enough to go out of my way to see it as soon as it comes out. Maybe when it hits the 4 dollar theatre.

Looks quite good, reminds me of Super somewhat.

I'm sure there is nothing thematic, metaphorical or satirical about it at all.

I'll watch it if I ever catch it on TV or something. Not going to go out of my way to see it though.

Well it looks pretty fantastic. And c'mon, who wouldn't wanna see those Sweet 16 girls get killed?

Hrmm.
I imagine there's more to the movie than the trailer is letting on. I'll probably see it because "World's Greatest Dad" was surprisingly good.
