Oh...

GOD...

NO.

I don't care if it turns out NOT to be a horrifying fantasy of killing everybody who annoys you, but a critique of that fantasy blah blah blah... It's like that movie that condemned humanity's obsession with watching people die by showing a bunch of victims dying Saw-style, it condemned it WHILE INDULGING IN IT.

There's simply no way this movie won't be profoundly hypocritical or just simply messed up beyond any redemption.

Also, I'm disturbed by the interest in it. PEOPLE, Y U MAKE ME CRY?

After being bogged down with all that BS that they show in the opening of that trailer, I'm surprised someone hasn't made this movie sooner. As far as I'm concerned, that man is doing what nobody else in society has the balls to do, and I love it! Opening day for sure! :D

...So you're saying that, if you had bigger balls, you would kill every slightly annoying ass you could find?

It better not be. The only thing worse than a profoundly screwed up mentality captured on film is brazen hypocrisy captured on film.

Fuck. Yes. NEED!
Though it is a little late. It needed to come out during the Occupy thing to really capture everyones hate.
Anyway it looks awesome and although I wont go see it in cinemas[footnote]Mainly because of annoying cunts like in the trailer.[/footnote] I will happily buy it on home media.

What if we just want to indulge in the horrifying fantasy of killing everyone who annoys us? I know a lot of people who, after a long day's work, enjoy a spot of something like Hulk: Ultimate Destruction , so that they can pretend to smash that guy from HR so they don't in real life. This movie seems like that; even if the 'critique of the fantasy' that you think may be in it fails to stick the landing, it will still provide some temporary cathartic pleasure.

Do the cast of Jersey Shore make a guest appearance?

Because if he doesn't shoot them then I'll probably just wait until it comes to DVD.

Looks like a funny concept, but overall, the execution (no pun intended) seems sloppy and without any substantial message or themes, akin to a film like [a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106856/"]Falling Down[/a] Instead, opts to simple jokes about annoying pop culture figures and finding ways to murder them. May be funny, but I would be surprised if, after all the hype and 'controversy,' (that there will be) if this movie will be remembered much at all.

It's like taking one of those "Meet the Spartans" or "Scary Movie" films, but combining it with every "Does Anybody Else Hate..." forum/reddit threads about current pop culture and calling it a day after adding some, at best, decent acting into it.

Nope, I hate movies and really anything with stupid amount of violence....Well actually I would probably laugh my ass off at it.

But This movie falls into the pompous I hate all these things so lets draw more attention to them. Yes I do greatly dislike all the stuff the guy and girl where killing but it dose not make me want to see them kill them.

I choose to just ignore the thing's I dislike unless I can somehow takeaway from how much they are noticed. Hell I forgot about the sweet 16 crap then know this reminds me that it exsisted and it ruin's my good mood.

I don't know could be good but I doubt I'll see it, the fact that we get no movies at my theater helps with this also.

I think you're taking this a little bit too seriously. And by, "a little bit," I mean totally blowing it out of proportion.

The trailer shows the movie as a black comedy. It's really not that complicated. Man dying of terminal brain tumor decides to go around and do whatever the hell he wants before his death because he won't be around for the long-term consequences.

Looks like it will be a fun movie. These people have my money easy if it plays where I live. Almost has a Tarantino vibe to it, might just be because it's an exploitation flick. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploitation_film]

Hmmmm...

I liked it until the tiny female showed up.

They built it up nicely with the gross reality television, the depressing news stories, and finally that awful excuse for human complaining about her car.

Oh and his tumor.

I could totally see that guy just losing it and spending the rest of the movie trying to kill some selfish ***** or something...

But instead... I get a killing spree that involves some girl who looks like she has a lot of issues for no reason.

I might still see it. However... I'm not particularly looking forward to it.

Was I the only one to find that trailer disconcerting? I know it's supposed to be a joke/revenge fantasy, but from the trailer it looks like it'll be poorly done series of "hey, you know who really grinds my gears?" and inserting bullets into their brainpans. Being mindless is MOSTLY fine for some circumstances, but for this it just looks bad.

Just my 2 bullets, and we'll see for sure once it comes out.

Can you describe the hypocrisy for me? How is the film indulging in what it apparently means to condemn (or criticize)? Sorry if I seem a dummy but it is not self evident to me.

Also, am I the only person who knows Bobcat as a director primarily because of Windy City Heat? I really liked that one, so I will see this if I can.

I was expecting some kind of batshit insane Republican propaganda piece.
BUT THIS IS FUCKIGN AWESOME!
I am going to see this when it hits theaters!
it kida reminds me of Rampage by Uwe Boll except set in the USA and being more a comedy.

We get it. You don't like the movie. Why do you have to attack other people for their excitement regarding this movie? Relax. It's a movie.
