What is your favourtie fictional videogame god and why? Mine would have to be Oblivion's own Sheogorath just because he's the God of Mischief and he's hilarious with his Scottish brogue and whatnot.

It's Greek Gods but yeah agreed. I liked the Old God's from Warcraft as well. They are pretty badass creatures.

The Old Gods in World of Warcraft.
Although some of it is contrived from Lovecraft's classics, they're pretty interesting.
Evil beings so interwoven into the world that killing them would cause catastrophic damage to the world and yet they are so very powerful.

Everyone already knows that the Romans simply took the Greek pantheon and renamed them. Chill.


Mine would have to be the ones from The Elder Scrolls. It seems to be the only game series that puts any thought into their deities. Everything else is either elemental gods this or thinly disguised ancient beliefs that.

Also, Legend of Zelda's gods were pretty cool, despite being a blatant case of Powerpuff Girls syndrome.
