I love the Godzila films.

I have fond memories of Ebirah: Terror From The Deep (The Spanish guitar playing lobster!) & Godzilla vs The Space Monsters(?), though I must have watched them all when they were broadcast late at night on Channel 4 when I was a kid.

I particular love how in the Space Monster film, even the aliens refer to their home planet as "Planet X"!

Obviously Godzilla is the star of the films, but I love the other monsters too, like King Gidorah & Gigan, and even the so lame he's cool Jet Jaguar.

I recently downloaded Godzilla: Final Wars, and despite not being able to get the subtitles to work, I still enjoyed the film, as it had every monster in a epic royal rumble of destruction & Pride fighters Don Frye & Gary Goodridge, acting as well as you'd expect any professional fighter who's been savagely knocked out & beat down to act, epic LOL.

The Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters game was cool to, just by it being what it was & having all the monsters & cool sound effects.

Ah Godzilla, *clutches Godzilla action figure tightly* how I love you.

Godzilla vs King Ghidorah has always been one of my favorite movies.

I as well. Mothra was my favorite. I remember TBS once ran a Godzilla marathon. 24 hours straight of Godzilla. I was like 8 at the time, but it ruled.
That's awesome. Flaming Mothra in Final Wars was amazing.

In all honesty, I enjoy the new Godzilla way more then the old. By new I mean the 2000's range of movies and not the American one.
Godzilla Vs Mechagodzilla III, Toyko SoS and Final Wars are truely epic from the word go! Plus I've been meaning to see Godzilla 1985 for such a long time. No other monsters, all Big G.

Godzilla has his own star? That's awesome.
I (luckily)cannot remember a life w/o Godzilla. My earliest memories are Godzilla on TV or Godzilla movies at the little "2shows for 99cents" Kung Fu moviehouse* in town.

As for Tri-Star Godzilla('98):forget it.On the morning that the film came out I read an article in the local newspaper quoting one of the makers of that film.He said that they had wanted to make an animal that could have reasonably been expected to exist, only that it was not discovered,or something to that effect.
---I thought to myself: Animal? This thing is going to suck air,Godzilla is KING OF THE F**KING MONSTERS.For god's sake, man, what were you thinking?.Jeeez Louise,I mean how dumb can you get?--they gave you money for this,seriously...you're joking right?
I went on like that for weeks, angry confused...contemplating violence.
But I'm fine now...right? F-ing Tri-Star BS

EDIT *the asterisk is to note that that old moviehouse was:the Crescent Theater in Nashville TN---right next to all the XXX---girls girls girls----XXX moviehouses

I said it one and I'll say it again: Ghidora= THE EPICNESS! Godzilla blows when put up next to this guy. Three heads, two tails, one collective ability to WHOOP ASS!
Mech-KingGhidora Two heads, one robot head! All kick arse!

But come on, Godzilla is the king of all monsters! How many times did they team up and beat the goldern thing! So many! Tearing heads off and blasting holes in wings.

Also, the Finals War version deserves a lifetime supply of cookies. He turned into a comet and blew Toyko into a big hole.

Didn't get a chance to see Final Wars yet.

It hits so many levels of epic. Even the soundtrack rocks.

Here is a fourth reason: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOISbaA2G18 (Haha, justice is served)

By the way, did any one else ever watch the old Hanna-Barbera Godzilla cartoon. I still can't believe they made that.

I'm waiting on Godzilla VS Cognitive Dissonance.

Nice, very nice.

I've enjoyed a few Godzilla films, especially the MST3K versions (Godzilla vs Megalon, classic.)
