I started going grey at the age of fifteen. :-/ It's more noticeable now, at thirty six, but I've had grey hairs for a very long time now.

Started greying on chin first (28). Temples started greying too (30), and chest crop has a few silvers turning up now too (32).

Exactly the same as my father. Although he looks like Sean Connery ... I look like a slightly rough/grizzled Orlando Bloom / Jude Law.

I'm only 22, no grey hairs, but I can't wait to get some, I think I'd look mature.

I'm 34, and have found quite a few around the temples, but I still have hair, so I'm happy enough with that.

unfortunatly for women when you age its not really a good thing (thanks too socety grrr) so you really cant make the "grey" work...
Margaret Houlahan from MASH had grey hair, and was, well, she was Hot Lips Houlahan.

I'm getting some badger locks in my side burns, but they're taking their sweet time over it. They've turned into a more golden colour than my usual light brown, and have been getting paler yeah month for the past year now.

I'm 25. Not concerned so much about the colour as keeping it on top of my head though. Getting a but thin up there :(

I do not know what you mean by having my mane turn grey, that can't happen. For the older ones, yes I'm sure they do at around the age of 56, on average.

Or do you mean like this:

I had a touch of grey when I was fifteen, but that's because school was a bit evil that year.

It's cleaned up. I'm nineteen now, and I'd like to keep my hair grey-free for another three decades, thanks.

I have grey tuffs from my hungarian, but it's really hard to see them as I have really long hair, but I've had them since i was 12, I'm 20 now. They're not from age, but from genes.

My head hair has the beautiful colour of cendre, which is sort of ash-blond in my case.

My beard on the other hand... why must you be 50% black 50% white mixed!?

I too have seen plenty of women who look perfectly refined and respectable with grey hair. It's not really stigmatised. God help you if you choose not to shave your legs/armpits though. I find it quite gross myself but to be fair I really shouldn't. Maybe that calls for a thread.

16 (now 33), I have lived a short but powerful life. Given some of the crap I have been through I am surprised I am still alive. I must have some Teddy Roosevelt in me, if Death wants me, he is gonna have to work for it.

I've been getting grey hairs since I was either 10 or 12, some people say its stress, which, my childhood went through a lot, but I think its more genetic in Native Americans.

Going grey? Spare a thought. Some of us are going bald.

I also have a pigment condition so I have a few patches of my body where they're completely pale and have white hairs (including my right eyelashes). It's kind of hard to say what's from that and what's just going grey.

I remember noticing my grey/white hairs around the age of 14. Once they grew on the back of my head in the dozens. Last year, they started appearing in my fringe. My father believes that it's because I'm not eating healthily thus the white hairs, but I know that it comes from stress. I won't be surprised that once I reach my 20s, I might have a semi or complete full head of white hair. Probably won't be so soon, but what do I know?

Strange enough, I noticed that I had a strand of white pubic hair. I personally found it interesting.
