Going to the movies alone?

Have you ever been to the movies by yourself? I ask beause it hit me not too long ago that I myself never have because I usually go with a friend, family member OR someone drags ME to the movies because THEY dont want to go alone.

I personally wouldn't mind, I go to restaurants and the mall by myself BUT never the movies. What about you.

Never go by myself. If I really want to watch the film then I wait until it is out on DVD.

ya i have, only once or twice tho. Im kinda an introvert so it doesn't really bother me. As for restaurants, only like fast food(though that doesn't really count) i have never been to an actual restaurant by myself.

The only way to true appreciate a good movie is to watch it without any distractions... so yeah that statement has no bearing on going to the movies by yourself.

Well the only way I'll see a bad movie is with friends and the only I'll go see a superhero movie movie is with my cousin who well knows the Marvell and DC universes.

Normally I would go with a friend or family member, but if they're busy and the movie in question is something I really want to see, then I'll go by myself.

Doesn't bother me a bit, in fact I went to see predators by myself last week, I was the only one in the cinema. So it was nice and relaxing, plus the film itself was pretty good.

I try never to go alone. It's a social experience, and standing in line by yourself, then sitting by yourself always feels awkward to me.

the cinema is a multi-person activity i find, you always go with someone.going to the cinema alone is like running into a gunfight without your weapon... you just dont do it

Now that I think about it, no never. I always go with friends. I often have the idea to go watch a movie alone during a couple of spare hours, but never actually do it.

I prefer going alone, because everybody I know likes to talk during movies and it's impolite to tell them:"Shut the fuck up! I'm trying to pay attention."

I generally go by myself since I really don't feel like searching for another person that might want to see a movie I want to see. Going by myself is normal for me.

There are a couple of bonuses: No fighting over arm rests and generally no one distracts you from the movie (that is the reason your there after all).

I like to go there with a friend, but as my taste differs somewhat from theirs, I have to go alone occasionally. Doesn't bother me one bit.

I've never gone to the movies alone but frankly I don't see anything wrong with it.
