GoldenEye 007 Returns Through Perfect Dark Remake

Perfect Dark was SO much better than Goldeneye!

The story was better, the guns were more fun, the multiplayer had more options, there's pretty much nothing about it that wasn't improved. I'm much happier that they're remaking Perfect Dark instead of Goldeneye.

As long as they have some slightly better control scheme options, I think it will definitely fly. PD was so good back in the day.

EDIT: Well, I reread that and realized I was a bit of an ass. You might not be able to get XBL because of something with your internet connection.

That is indeed the case. In spite of my best efforts, I can't get a connection.

Ok, why is everyone complaining that this game is being remade and not Goldeneye? This one was better! More maps, more guns... Bigger maps and better guns for that matter, plus the one thing that pretty much revolutionized multiplayer shooters, the ability to create sims! Now you could play an offline shooter without having to gather up all your friends and worry about split screen. I'd much rather get this game than Goldeneye any day. And people saying it's being sold for it's nostalgia value and not for it's story or gameplay... well duh! It's a Nintendo 64 game! Almost nothing on that system would be genuinely good now, most of it was crap then! 80 percent of the stuff on XBLA is for Nostalgia. Pac Man, Space Invaders, Paperboy, Tetris, Dig Dug, Sonic, Contra, Doom, Duke Nukem, Banjo Kazooie... did you think these were all original titles?
