It's called change, OP. If you want to play the original Goldeneye, then go buy an old N64 and a copy of the game itself off of eBay. Problem solved. Going on the internet and complaining that a new version of a game that quite frankly, sucks by today's standards isn't going to bring back your "killed" childhood.

Either adapt and enjoy, or don't. This isn't 1997 anymore.

My thoughts exactly. Every time someone utters the words "kill my childhood" or any variation, I want to laugh historically in their face. If something as asinine as this could tarnish all your childhood memories and scar you for life, then man are you sad; I'm sorry to have to say that, but it's true. Esp. considering there's whole websites devoted to raping childhoods up the ass, you know what I'm talking about.

I wouldn't shoot it down straight away, the original golden-eye doesn't really hold up too well anymore so its nice to see it updated, and all the original split screen fun is still pretty much intact...

All it would take would be a slight tweak of the gameplay and graphics to make it suitable to still be able to play. Take a look at how nicely the Perfect Dark XBLA game plays. That's all they need to do.

I think your complaints are absolutely ridiculous, considering it's essentially a port to the 360/ps3 of that Wii version that was released last year. Oh, and what this guy said:

Why are the complaints ridiculous? Just because it is a port from Wii, how can complaints about it be ridiculous? Wouldn't the complaints just cover both games? I played the Wii version one night but because I am a Xbox 360 player I can complain about the 360 version surely. Freedom of speech and all.

I second that. It seems not only has hollywood run out of ideas, but most game makers too. Everything is getting a remake these days.

I complained when the Wii version came out too but because I play Xbox I am complaining again. Don't see why people can't comment on a game that is going to the console they play on just because it has been on another before it.
