So I got two packages today, and in them I got Killzone 3 (the Helghast Edition) and Goldeneye Wii. (Also a new multi-outlet surge protector for my new computer, the Elder Scrolls book and the 2nd Darkstalkers graphic novel, but those are beside the point).
After sitting down to play them today, I enjoyed the time I spent with Killzone 3. Though I obviously haven't finished it yet, I still found it to be better than KZ2, especially since the difficulty didn't seem to be too BS. (Radec, go FUCK yourself)
However, what REALLY surprised me was Goldeneye Wii. I had heard it was good, but I hadn't been expecting it to be...well, good good. I mean holy shit, I'd forgotten how much fun the campaign could be, though I believe it must be experienced on "007 Classic" to be the most fun. But what absolutely blew me away was the multiplayer; I had expected it to feel quaint and old-timey, but not up-to-par with modern shooters.
But holy crap. Its good. It great......its...just fun. Its like the result of James Bond decided to beat the stupid out of Call of Duty. Its still Goldeneye, buts a new Goldeneye, one that keep up with the times and picked up the important improvements it saw.
Though I could only play a few games, it was great; though I was a bit disappointed in the lack of Split-Screen customization options.
But seriously, has anyone else actually played the new Goldeneye? I would've expected this board in particular to be all over a game like this, even if it didn't come out on PC.
