Soul Eater's anime had a bad ending.
In what way? I mean I agree that the last battle was kinda lame but the ending itself was kind of good according to me? You think they ended it too fast or all the talking about courage made you think it sucked?
I kinda expected something amazing for the final fight against madness and all I get is her punching him a few times while holding a post card....so yeah disappointing.
Up until that point the fight was good too
Totally agree with you!!

I can't for the life of me find the manga, but the anime... oh god that ending sucked. Every episode was brilliant but that fucking
shot of the train at the end with all that suspensful bullshit that eventually led nowhere
really pissed me off to no end.
Go here for Gantz manga:
http://www.thespectrum.net/

Updated as soon as the new chapters are scanlated. Usually once every two weeks or so.
Thank you. I just need to ask does this site download manga or just show it on screen. I would test it myself but I really need to be somewhere right now and I have no time at all.

Didn't like Code Geass's ending because the after-ending scene made you wonder what the hell happened?
It's quite obvious.

He became a tyrant so that nobody would remember what that one pink haired chick did.
Then he got that one fucker that doesn't die to help him fake his death.
Then that dude that can't die(not orange) becomes a mascot version of Zero and together with that blind chick and others helps fix the screwed up world.
All while Lelouch and C.C. go live in the middle of fucking nowhere so nobody knows he's alive.(he's the dude in the cloak driving the cart)

Thus everyone forgets the terrible shit the pink haired chick does and instead hate Lelouch, all while Zero remains the hero the people want him to be. Rainbows shoot out of unicorn's asses and everyone lives happily ever after.
I knew that, except that unicorn part, its the fact that they never show him that made me wonder.

I didn't really like the ending of Gantz, such a copout.
Also "now and then, here and there" had a bit of a "meh" ending in my opinion.

Definietely School Days. The ending is absolutely crazy, even though rest of the episodes are pretty good and peaceful.
And in the last episode, two of the main characters are brutally killed with saw, and a girl has her womb cut by another girl which wanted to see if she's pregnant. And final scene shows the killer-girl clinging to a severed head of first-killed character, which she fell in love with.
Yes, this is pretty mind blowing.
Also, the first 'version' of Fullmetal Alchemist (where the second is "FMA: Brotherhood") including the movie 'Conqueror of Shambala'.
It was pretty sad, that Edward returned to 'our' world, leaving Winry and everyone, probably forever. I'm only glad that Alphonse went with him.

Gotta say Soul Eater, Shuffle, Shaman King and Deathnote =\
Deathnote was an epic manga, and Soul Eater still is, but the anime was a bit lacking. I never read Shaman King, but I know it turns off of the original storyline in the anime, and it wasn't all that fabulous. Shuffle was just really sad :'(

SPOILERS AHEAD AND I AM REALLY LAZY NOT WANTING TO DO CODE THINGIES.

Foolish to say Cowboy Bebop ended badly or too soon.
Wantanabe is a strong believer in making the Audience want more.
You never actually know that Spike dies either. You see one star fall across the sky, which implies that one warrior met his end, it could, in all actuality, be Vicious' star.

The Creator (Wantanabe again) has gone on record saying HE doesn't even know who dies... or if he is truly done with the series

Yeah, Inu Yasha. They didn't even finish off the main villain. WTF?
Actually they released Inuyasha: The Final Chapter recently, which basically ends the anime.
And all animes that stop airing when the manga still keeps going :(.
Always makes me rage when I watch a season of something awesome and then discover there won't be a second.

I'd say Berserk, since technically there is no ending yet, and the one supplied by the anime just went psychological gobble-dee-gook out of nowhere so that was upsetting. Also, a second season never came, but I think was intended at some point, so big feelings of irresoluteness.

Also, to those talking about ending of Code Geass. As far as I know, there was such image put on the Code Geass mobile-phone-version-website:
New Code Geass Project Launch Green-Lit!

Expect a followup report in 2010!

This is a rebirth...a new birthday.
Beginning today, Geass will move towards a new level.
Before long, you will all encounter this new Geass
Hope for it. Wait for it. Long for it!

Had you forgotten?
Geass is something akin to a wish.
That's right.
If you all wish for it, Geass will once again...

Evangelion simply because It felt like so much was un-resolved, we were given so many ideas and ploy points that we never got to see filled out.

Evangelion because even though there are so many endings all of them do not give closure
but it may be what the animators wanted

I wouldnt say I loved the show, but I really lost any sort of interest and had to force myself to continue watching Death note after L died. The heart of the series seemed to be that deadlock between light and L.
