Well the problem with todays "moral choice" games is that they completely fail at displaying the moral choice we see as "bad" among other more descriptive words.
Sure, I like playing evil, (and note I use the term evil very loosely) but evil has to have a purpouse, evil has to actually see his/her way as the -morally correct- path, not simply as being a "bad guy."
That's most games fallings, evil is portrayed as your character just being an asshole, or badass, or the game gives rewards for making the generally regarded as morally incorrect path.
I'm the morally correct guy usually not because it's my nature to do good (note I use the term good very loosely also) where I can, (even though that is kinda sorta my nature) but because the evil choices are just so flaw-filled, they try to reward you with no reason whatsoever, they try to say "ohh yeah, you had a great life but because of one incident we let you be evil now." etc.
I mean, I rarely come accross a truly evil character who's actions are justified In-game for more than maybe one occurance in said lifetime, so it is in fact not them being evil, but wishing revenge, or wishing to exact their fate onto others for some stupid reason.
The games that -DO- portray a character who is truly evil as he/she were raised that way, are usually in games without moral choices, and usually in those games they turn good by the end of the game. (which kinda pisses me off, can we have another game where evil is the top dog, you know... Like Dungeon Keeper?)
