I was wondering what good comedy series there are on TV.

I recently watched Two and a Half Men, thought it was pretty good. Some episodes are kinda dumb, but still, I had a couple of laughs.

And of course, The Simpsons and Futurama are great.

So, what suggestions do you have for good comedy series?

Reruns of Boston Legal are pretty great.

Arrested Development is good, no new episodes but I hear there is a movie in the making.

Futurama, South Park, Family Guy. All 3 are great.

King of the Hill if you like somewhat realistic comedy.
My god, I hated King of the Hill. I understood it, but I just found it to be boring, 90% of the time. It is somewhat funny at points, but most of it is dramatics.

I'm partial to How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory at the moment. The former is a hybrid of Seinfeld/Friends that actually works very well, in large part due to Neil Patrick Harris. And the second is actually surprisingly respectful of geeks. They're the only sitcoms I watch these days.

That's part of the comedy though :D

If you don't watch south park, just go to southparkstudios.com and try it out... if you go to (I believe) 11th season there is an episode called "Make Love, Not Warcraft" that is bitchin'. Though you probably already watch the show...

Theres a lot of great coedy coming out of the UK right now, be it new Shooting Stars episodes, the IT Crowd (OK, maybe thats a little old now, same with The Mighty Boosh) or The Inbetweeners. And then theres always the older stuff like The Office, Black Books, The Young Ones, Blackadder, or The League of Gentlemen.

And then America has lots of good shows, like The Big Bang Theory, Scrubs, Family Guy, American Dad, and Futurama.
