No one's mentioned The Boondock's? I don't know, I thought it was funny. Every line from Uncle Ruckus is pure gold.

You need to watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Its one of the funniest shows I've ever seen.

Try It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It's one of my favorites.
By far the funniest show I've seen in YEARS.
Woo hoo! Going to see them perform The Nightman Cometh in Hollywood!

OT: Weeds or Entourage or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Try Arrested Development. It only ran for 3 seasons but it is solid comedy entertainment.
And this.

I'm happy to see that someone has already listed the IT Crowd, even though you can't really find that on American TV. I just netflix it.

Little Britain? Unless you're not a fan of British humour...?
Too repetitive, just like The Fast Show.
The bit with the wheelchair guy are gold though.

The fact that The Venture Bros. has not been mentioned yet is absolutely criminal. By far the best cartoon in existence, and season 4 starts in just over a month!
I agree, the lack of Venture Bros. is a complete tragedy! It is, quite simply, the best show on Cartoon Network.

Go for Malcolm in the Middle.

I give the show high marks for breaking the standard sit-com formula and for a achieving a high level of originality.

Oh, and its basically the opposite of Two and a Half Men.
*Throws him a cookie*

A show about nerds.

And it's by the same people of Two and a Half Men.

Chuck is an action/comedy/drama(to a much lesser extent than the action and comedy) show that more people need to watch.
I almost forgot about Chuck, I watched a couple of episodes, and thought it was pretty good.

Not the kind of answer I expected, but yeah, it's very funny.

I'll probably give Always Sunny and How I Met Your Mother a try. So many shows, so little time...

I agree, The Venture Brothers is a great show.

Like Malcolm in the Middle, I give it high marks for orginality.

Something I've noticed about shows like The Simpons, Futurama, and The Venture Brothers; crazy works. Really crazy plots (like creating a universe in box or cronoton particles causing time skips- I have much love for Futurama myself) make for the most uniquely funny episodes and for series classics.

Edit: The Venture Brothers puts this "crazy works" thing to good use.
