I concur on Timesplitters 2. That game is amazing.

Also, Haze could be very good, considering it's made by the same people. Honestly makes me wish I had a PS3.

Disclaimer: I haven't really played any of these games, so don't take my word about it. These recomendations come from friends and aquaintences of mine.

On the PS2, you have Timesplitters 2.

On the Gamecube, you have Metroid Prime, both the original and Two.

You got Call of Duty 4 on the PS3.

There are no good FPS games on the PSP, and I've not heard of any for the Wii that are worth the money.

Oh man! How could we possibly forget Goldeneye?! That's the best James Bond FPS ever!

I thank you for reminding me of that game as I am now pulling out my N64 and playing it.

I agree the Timesplitters games. So much variety in characters weapons and enemies. A truly bizzare mix that really clicked. The pace is also killet quick and fun.
Their new Haze title looks really promising for the PS3. Resistance 2 is also looking to be one of the more amazing FPS this year and a seriously great exclusive PS3 game. Far Cry 2 is headed to the PC and consoles and looks mighty fine. Point is, this year and next is going to be spectacular for the FPS.
