This. Apart from a self-created World in Conflict game mode, I've never played anything like this. That wasn't even a mod - I just set the camera speed all the way down, zoomed in to ground level, and walked around trying not to get too close to gunfire or explosions. Also, an FPS with good exploration of the villain's reasons is good, though it's becoming (thankfully) more common. Like Portal, but with a well-written human villain with logical reasons for being evil. It's good when a villain has reasons beyond "shits and giggles" - a common reason is trying to maintain power, like President Eden (Fallout 3) or Bae Jung-Tae (Heatseeker).
