no spoliers but after all the effort of, oh i dunno, FIGHTING HELL, that certain female romantic interests would be more happy but whatever and the lame 'to be continued'? :/
What confused me most about the ending is:

How the hell are they going to make Purgatory into a good sequel, let alone a good video game? What are you going to fight?

Why so? It wasn't enormously epic but t'was still good imo

Anyway, Borderlands... I went with the grind and whatever the hell else I had to do just because I needed a little closure, like who was that mysterious character and what the hell is in the Vault then.
Oh I loved the game, and how dark it was and such. Just after the feeling of acoplishment the first game left you with (dark or light) this game just left you with nothing.

I know its because it was rushed but really what happened? I just left to find Revan? thats it? Maybe a paragrah on each of my fellow party members.

Though I cant believe their just gonna push the date 200 years or so for the new MMO. I really want to know what happened to Revan and my Exile. It better take an entire quest line to find out. And not just a paragraph from on NPC

The Matrix: The Path Of Neo.

I was really enjoying it right up untill the end when the Wachowski? Brothers come on screen as animated 3D pixel men saying that it would make the game shit if all that happened at the end after the epic neo-smith battle was that you died... they then proceeded to explain how it would be more epic and awesome if all the smiths combined into a giant tower of smiths creating a giant smith. Which then proceeds to throw cars at you which in no way are hard to avoid.. you throw shit back which always hits taking out a few smith minions with it, rinse and repeat untill smith monster is dead. The End.

Just for the record, this was in no way epic or awesome. It was incredibly easy and a huge let down and also really confusing. I'm sure that the smiths could have collaborated together in some more effective way than just a giant car throwing monster.

*Edit* How do i do the spoiler warnings? i would have done it for this but i couldnt find out how but i needed to express my rage! ;). Not that anyone would care.. anyway, a tip would be nice :D

Risen. The game is amazing, but the ending (no spoilers) didn't use any of the talents you had learned up to that point.

Halo Wars had a pretty fail ending if I remember correctly. Oh wait, not a good game.

kingdom hearts 2. the game was repetative if you were trying to get everything but it still was fun and although the final boss fight (even on proud mode) wasn't that hard (unless you were struggling to stay awake early in the morning) the fight was mostly epic. the ending though with the birth by sleep trailor was bull. in the original your left on a huge fucking cliff hanger to thinking wtf was that, and in the remix version you see this beyond epic trailor but, then you see mickey mouse staring at the fight in the end which kinda ruins it. (kinda makes u wonder wtf he was doing while the keyblade warriors were getting there ass handed to them)

i'm only slightly aware of what's in purgatory but i don't think it'll be anything like what was in hell, hell on earth would be fun i guess

dead rising
main character fails at outing the gov., will eventually become a zombie, and now we dont even get to play him in the sequel. instead we get some new guy.
There are multiple endings for dead rising dude.

Also Fallout 3, it was so underwhelming.

Assassin's Creed was ready to be my game of the year......
then they pulled some hyper-advanced civilization out of goddam nowhere for the absolute wiredest ending I have ever seen.

Beyond Good and Evil.

Nnnnrrrggghhh.

I mean, I loved the game.
Seriously, I played it 'till the disc broke, and then it turns out Jade was not who she thinks she was.
Alrighty, can roll with that.

But then they pulled that shit Pey'J being infected and all.
Mindfuckery of a kid's mind ensued.

Yup. I play through this epic game with awesome gameplay and gorgeous environments and get a 2-minute-long ending that seemed like it was written in 10 seconds... by a blindfolded child being strangled by an angry farmer

Halo 2.

Yeah, easy to near impossible bosses and cliffhangers suck.
This. Seriously, my friend and I played it all the way through on launch day, and we were fucking PISSED! Borderlands rates up there, as does Fallout 3 pre-DLC.
OMG!!!! Borderlands ending pissed me off so badly! it was such an anti-climatic ending that also didnt give you any guns. the fight up to the final boss was epic but the boss was piss-easy and the ending was sooo bad...

Definitely Metal Gear Solid 3.

Big Boss finally gets to nail Eva, but she betrays Snake and says that she is a spy for the Chinese.

Hmmm,

Revenant - After all that effort, the girl you were trying to save gets killed.

Army of Two: 40th Day - Mass carnage or your death, no boss fight or special event which distingusihes it from the rest of the game

Bioshock 2 - I hate games which make you a martyr. No real bosses in this game to end it.

Knights of the Old Republic 2: I hate endings which are not finished even more!

Wet - A QTE is the final level? No real bosses again.

Actually thinking about it, how mnay games have I played recently that haven't had an end boss or even a single boss through out the course of the game? Right I think I definately need to get Final Fantasy XIII when it comes out, that will have bosses.
