L.A. Noire, Red Dead Redemption and Demon Souls, these are some of the best PS3 games out there. Fifa 11 is also a great title if you are into sports games.

Has Mass Effect came out on PS3 yet? I heard tell that it might be. Also I can play Mortal Kombat at my friends so there really ain't much reason for me to buy it. Also I have never played any of the Ratchet and Clank or killzone games. I haven't really heard much about them. I'll definitely take a look at them when I get the chance.

Get the R&C games. Both of the PS3 ones. And then get Quest For Booty, but it's only 2 hours...

Demon's Souls - Tough but fair action RPG. Addictive and fascinating.

Valkyria Chronicles - Fun strategy RPG. Story is kind of cheesy, gameplay is great.

Resonance of Fate - Convoluted, uninteresting main story with awesome combat, characters and subplots.

Portal 2 - You've already heard of this game and have probably already decided whether you want to buy it.

LA Noire - ^^^see above.

I would go for L.A Noire. I haven't got it yet, but it is definitely on my wish list. It looks to be a great game.
