Good games that never got Sequels

Again with the Beyond Good & Evil vote...but also and more importantly I want to see a Freespace 3.
I know it'll never happen because space sims OD'd on heroin and died, but I think it would be awesome.

If someone else hasn't said it yet, I'm gonna. Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner. Indeed, it was a sequel itself, but it's worthy of a third installment. I know Kojima had briefly mentioned he wanted to work on a third one after Metal Gear Solid 4. Then he didn't.

C'mon, Kojima. It's not like you were anything more than a producer for the second game anyway. Just do it!

Also, I'm surprised to have not seen a sequel to The Darkness at this point.

Edit: I forgot about Advent Rising! I'm one of the few people that actually liked that game. It ended on a cliffhanger... can't stand games that do that, because you may not get a sequel. I'm looking at YOU, Too Human. >.>

See that little guy to my left there? Megaman from Megaman Legends? Well there was a sequel...and of course it ended with a cliff hanger. It's my little pet game where for some reason I overlook every single flaw and love it and I still desperately want to know how things were planned to turn out after Megaman Legends 2.

Actually, there is a new Mega Man Legends title coming out... for the Nintendo 3DS. =/ I'd love to see a true sequel, myself. Next-gen graphics and all that. I think Megaman has sadly moved over to the handhelds, and forever there shall he stay...

Legacy of Kain: Defiance! Sure, the game itself wasn't exactly triple A, but that amazing story needs to get a concision, dammit! Don't think a series has ever given me balls as blue as these.

Legend of Dragoon needs a sequel. Chrono-Trigger. (Yeah I'm gonna be that guy) Ninety-nine Knights never got a sequel I don't think.

"Legend of Dragoon got 'Panzer' the shooter spin-off sequel, and Chrono Trigger got Chrono Cross, and Ninety-nine nights got N3: Ninety-Nine Nights II"..

Last time I checked...Legend of dragoon, and panzar dragoon are not related in the slightest and the only connection is the word "dragoon". They are even made by different companies. But kay, the others I agree with, fanboy rant over, you may return to what you are doing =D.

Not really a sequel-ly type of storyline but a brilliant game, perhaps a HD Remake instead?

Dark Sector, what a great game and so much potential for sequels.
