WAW then onto zombies?

If you get a PS3 get resistance 2, it has great co-op and large TDM matches.

If you can find it, the original unreal tournament was the one that got my sister into FPS games. Portal almost worked on my ex-gf too. So that would be a fun choice.

No the controls are a bit awkward and shitty for Goldeneye so play Timesplitters 2 instead which feels like Goldeneye but is much better.

Well, Timesplitters: Future Perfect if you can find the Gamecubeversion. Or Timesplitters 2. But Future Perfect is generally better and more fun to play co-op.

Wait for it, wait for it, wait for it...

Battlefield: Bad Company (1)!! Seriously, its cheap, lighthearted and funny, and dying doesn't even really matter, so it's easy!! Howsabout that?

Plus, not to mention its, like, my favorite FPS ever...

P.S. Sadly no co-op though.

Halo is easy to play. IMHO, get Halo: Combat Evolved, because it's easily the best one. But unless you get PC versions, you'll have to get an Xbox to play it. If on N64, Goldeneye. You could have all sorts of fun in Goldeneye dual-wielding literally every weapon in the game(except maybe the tank, can't remember).

I am going to be getting a ps3 I have decided. I also asked my sis why she doesn't like FPS games and she said mainly because they don't ever relax and they have no storylines. I need to prove her wrong, what are some good FPS, ps3 (preferably) games with good storylines and also with open world or areas where you can just mess around in? I've noticed in a lot of games my sister does t always do the main story, she spends a lot of time doing side quests or just exploring and messing around.

Wait, what? You're trying to get her to hook up with one of your friends brothers through FPS games? I don't think a mutual interest in FPS games is going to be the decisive factor in that.
Yeah basicly this. FPS games are not a valid pick-up line ;)

Fallout 3 or Deus Ex.

Assuming your computer can run them, and that she's old enough to match the ESRB ratings.

Start with Portal, get her over to HL2 after that.

I'd say Fallout: New Vegas, if she's patient enough to sit through bugs every now and again.

There is a story line, and it's got kind of a sandbox/linear path hybrid for the first few hours. Once you hit New Vegas itself, the sandbox opens up and you're left with a metric fuck-ton of side missions. You can follow the story, do those side missions, or just dick around the Mojave Wasteland (an extremely accurate portrayal of the American Southwest, hardy-har) as you please.

If the shooty mechanic becomes a little too overwhelming (although it really shouldn't), there's always V.A.T.S., and of course, there are some RPG elements to the game to dabble in, if she's into that kind of stuff.

Also, Bioshock and L4D1/L4D2. Thems is rather popular amongst the (few) ladies I know.

Farcry2, Left4Dead2, and the new fallouts. Which Age of Empires does she play? Two or three? Also, I played Unrealtournament when I was a lil kid, but the new one sucks soooo I suggest BioShock it's the best game ever.

Well it's hard to put my finger on what she likes, but there are a couple of games she should have a look at:
- Borderlands (massive co-op fun, very relaxed game, pure fun, big open world to screw around in, story... well that is paper thin)
- Bioshock 1/2 (they are essentially the same game, with a different story) (awesome environment, incredible story and depth, but very linear and not at all relaxed)
- Half Life series (awesome environment, incredible story and depth, but very linear and not at all relaxed, ya in short it's about the same direction)
I would also recommend Fallout, but I doubt she will like anything about it.

But maybe the thing you're sister is looking for isn't an FPS, my sisters both enjoyed GTA 4 the most, they are the only ones who care about the socializing aspect and clothing options, and they also like the auto targeting.
Thinking about it... GTA has become the perfect girl game, could be that's why I hated it.
