Yeah. That really was a letdown.
That whole game was a let down apart from how nice it looked. How boring was it driving past the same checkpoints and having to fight through it each time!
I meant the lack of stealth, but I guess you're right.
Oh I know what you meant with regards to that, but I was just pointing out how poor the actual game was. It seemed awesome until you realised just how repatative the whole thing was.
Well said.
I still hate that game, I have no idea what the, well what the idea was. Or why I was doing any of it. At least with Sonic I understood the gist of it.

bad game bad game bad game... hmm i don't really play any bad games, because i research thoroughly before any purchase, but I game i disliked was Little Big Planet. It had great customization options, sadly it was way to boring for my interests.

The right-thumbstick combat in Too Human.

It's a great idea, in a terrible game.
That was actually in Rise To Honor first, but it was done somewhat well.
Oh, I didn't realise.

What was Rise to Honour like?

I've never heard of it.
A game [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rise_to_Honor] created with Jet Li's likeness. It was actually decent. It was a beat-em-up where you threw punches with the right analog stick, and also aimed guns with it when you had them.

Indeed. The narrative really didn't get that flushed out all that well, and the game could have been generally better as a whole if Ubisoft woulden't have been put under a time constrictment.

The idea for the game "Timeshift" was really intreseting. When i first heard about it i was really intreged and wanted to play it pretty dang bad. But something about the way they did the game was pretty dull, fun at first, but then dragged on. I think more games should try the idea of time control, but like give you more power so you feel more bad-ass. Its just could have been done better.

Didn't Ape Escape on the PS1 have right thumbstick combat? I remember spinning it round and round to smack stuff with my lightsaber-lookalike.

Oh, I remember that game! The counters and the attacking were pretty intuitive.

The kicking mechanic in Dark Messiah Might and Magic was awesome. Actually, the entire melee combat system in that game was pretty good. The single player was bland, and the levels were tiresome. But it gave you so many ways to kill people.

Yeah it did as did Star Wars Obi-Wan on the xbox. Made for interesting lightsaber combat.

As for a good idea I for one loved building my own ships in Naval Ops Warship Gunner. Most people called it a bad game I'd call it the game of the year.

The same goes for master of orion 3 (though the idea was horribly done). Sure you can decide everything that goes on a ship, too bad you never actually see the weapons on the ship model.

Thumbstick combat has never been a good idea... ever... Infact, I think I almost have to pull a 180 degree turn on your post and say just the opposite thing. Good game, terrible Idea.
Just my opinion though...
How about bad game, bad idea.

I just thought Jericho could have been an amazing game. I won't say it sucks, but it's definitely not what I would call "amazing". The premise was fine, the action was good-albeit repetitive, the powers were unique and for the most part helpful...but it was all marred in the way they went about it. Also, it didn't help that each of your team members would die within the first 5 seconds of a skirmish and you would spend your whole time trying to run from one body to the next to just revive them while you're under attack.

More recently, the new Lord Of The Rings game. It could have been as awesome as Battlefront and Battlefront 2. Instead it was outright terrible.
