Even though Valve themselves have said that it will never happen, I would quite like to see a Half Life movie.

A TF2 movie would be kinda interesting as well. Maybe focusing on a specific game on a specific map. Maybe playing out like the 'meet the...' videos.
Hmm... Sort of like the Incredibles?

I like the sound of it.

Can someone please start the "Separate-videogames-from-film-and-establish-them-as-their-own-legitimate-art-form" movement soon?
I'm with you...

oblivion- get patrick stewart and sean bean in there, with terence stamp as mankar camoran
This. Forever. I'd rather like to see some one try to chapel climp in a movie. XD
get that french guy to do it, he looks like a female wood elf
Way to be specific. XD I have no idea who you're talking about. Besides, they could make a CGI Kjiit (I forgot how to spell it.) XD
alain robert- totally looks like a blonde methredel. we could get will smith as baurus, tommy lee jones as jauffre, and pack it full of mib jokes :p

:O I totally might not hate that! XD We should get it made... :O
hmm... we should... anyone else want to jump in for character ideas?
As long as it has NOTHING to do with Uwe Boll, it's fine by me. XD Maybe... Daniel Radcliff as SOMEONE WHO GETS FUCKING STABBED. >.<
we can't do that, too many harry potter fangirls/boys would hate on us
I know. -.- Ah, hell, as long as someone gets stabbed, I'll buy it. XD

Match Robert Rodriguez with Devil May Cry, and we would have something special.

I think doing the first and second Medal of Honor games as a drama/action would be fun to see.
So, you want to see a movie adaption of a series of games which, in themselves, are inspired by movies and TV series (Saving Private Ryan, The Thin Red Line, Band of Brothers)?

Because what the world needs is more WW2 movies...

While the first two may be inspired by movies those movies you listed focus on units, battles, combat.
I think if they intertwined the first and second games into a neat story and focused on the suspense of an Bourne Identity like thriller it could be quite fun.

There can never be enough period films.

I also think, however, that OoT would be a good miniseries.
There's the magic word that I think everyone is missing. Why does everything have to be a movie? Why not a miniseries? I think that there are a lot of game stories that would work much better in that format.

Sorry, that last part sounded more sarcastic than was intended. I actually like all the stuff I listed, it's just sometimes it all ends up blurring together because no-one can do anything original about it any more (Band of Brothers is good, but it's a lot like 'Saving Private Ryan: The Series').

The idea of a sort of shadowy WW2 operative could be quite good; I think filmmakers tend to prefer the whole heroism angle of WW2 though, hence the samey films.

dude, a war is a war, they do not change to nazi weapons just because they think their guns was boring, in war, all is the same, so don't complain!
