Reminds me of another moment in Fallout 3.

Around Washington DC (I think), there's some guy at an alley speaking on a megaphone about the alley being trapped. There's nearby NPCs whom you can persuade to run down the alley and set off all the mini nuke mines.

It's fucking hilarious, watching a guy run down an alley then the place suddenly blowing up.

In KOtoR, if you order a party member to disarm a trap they'll often just run headlong into it. Which I suppose technically disarms it, but they're doing it wrong...
When I played KOTOR that rarely happenen to me unless I made them do it on purpose

I was playing Oblivion when this happened.....

And it got me to thinking, There have been a lot of times where crap like this has happened in a game. So share me your experiences of these incidents of stupidity.
This one is far worse.
The NPC retardation may be cause by the obvious heavy modding.
Or the fact that its shimmering isles, the home of the lord of madness.

I never played that expansion but given where it's set that's kinda how I'd expect npcs to act.
Exactly my comment. Both of those were MEANT to happen. The first for effect, the second because, well, lets say they are all a bit special there.
