Good over or on ear headphones with mic?

I have gotten sick of the cheap headphones iv been getting for a while, so i want to spend a bit on a nice pair of over the ear or on the ear headphones with a inline mic and buttons. Anyone have a pair like this or know of one they would recommend?

Are they for listening to music or chatting? If chatting then I would get Turtle Beaches, their pretty reliable, comfortable, and easy to use. For music I would get Beats by Dr.Dre (Yes I know only hipsters wear them but their all I can think of at the moment so deal with it.)

Music quality is more important than the microphone, but i do need an inline mic. From everything ive seen and heard, Beats are overpriced crap.

Have you tried Bose? They have some insanely good sound. And don't get Beats; they're overpowered for the amount of money you pay for them.
