I'm looking for a good post-apocalyptic game, preferably an rpg. Please do not recommend the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or Fallout series as I already own them.

Metro 2033. Not an RPG, but one for the best games I've ever played. And Portal 1 n' 2.

Never played the game Wasteland but I've heard good things about it. If I remember correctly it helped inspire the fallout series.

Not sure just how 'post-apocalyptic' it has to be in order to fit your category, but the Deus Ex series might be worth looking into.

Borderlands? but...from my understanding Pandora was always a shithole and never suffered an apocalyptic event.

I guess the Gears of War are somewhat post-apocalyptic.
They're a lot a fun though, regardless of whether it's post-apocalyptic or not.

Pandora always was a wasteland. But more importantly, Borderlands is an FPS, not RPG.

Metro 2033. Not an RPG, but a good FPS. Quite a throwback to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. if you enjoyed the challenging gameplay.

The STALKER series is pretty good apparently, there's also a game coming out called Rage and Metro 2033 are some pretty good ones.

Pretty much all I can think of is Metro 2033, which has already been mentioned, it really is a good FPS/RPG. The only other game is Metalheart: Replicants Rampage, plays allot like the original Fallout games, which didn't help it since Fallout fans felt it wasn't as good, but it was fun even if it has some horrible dialogue because of poor translation into English.

Beneath a Steel Sky, it's a point and click adventure game, and it's free from GOG. Retro groovy.

Resident Evil 3. RE2 took place in the post-outbreak racoon city but it was mostly in the police station and random subterranean research lab. RE3 is like 90% burned out cars and crumbling buildings. And it has the 180 degree turn :D Give it a play.

Read the OP for a change buddy.

OT: Honestly i think you hit the 2 best games on the mark, STALKER and Fallout are currently the only games i can think of that aren't either
A: Complete shit
or
B: To old to play

pretty much this

RPG wise it's quite tough.

i was going to suggest beneath a steel sky but i don't think a point and click counts.
