Borderlands? but...from my understanding Pandora was always a shithole and never suffered an apocalyptic event.
Pandora always was a wasteland. But more importantly, Borderlands is an FPS, not RPG.
Oh, so just because the game doesn't aim for you it no longer counts as an RPG?

It sure as heck isn't an RPG, but Armageddon Empires probably one of the best turn based strategy games I've ever played. Really cool combination of card driven mechanics and a hex based board game. As an added bonus you're supporting an indy developer, and it only costs 20 bucks.

It's also chock full of references/Easter eggs/shoutouts to all sorts of other games, Sci-fi series, ect particularly with the independents. You can find an independent stronghold called Vault 13, fight a giant cuthuluesque monster, find a tech base with a giant tank in the armoury called an OGRE, all sorts of crazyness.

I'm playing Darksiders right now, and it can be considered a post-apocalyptic game considering the apocalypse kicks off during the opening scene and tutorial level. Though I wouldn't really call Darksiders an RPG, it's more along the lines of Devil May Cry and God of War (the player character is in fact War, one of the Four Horsemen). Other than that, I can't think of any other post-apocalyptic games.

If you don't mind JRPGs,Wild Arms 3 is in a post apocalyptic wasteland, has great characters and plenty to do.

I doubt it'll be the greatest game you've ever played but if you're willing to play something a bit different Fragile Dreams:Farewell ruins of the moon is quite good.

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. It's a more traditional JRPG then the FPS-RPGs you mentioned but it may be worth a look.

I heard that in the half way point of Final Fantasy IV the world is destroyed.
That was Final Fantasy VI. 4 and 6 are easy to mix up, I know...

If your up for a walk into MMO-land then 'Fallen Earth' might be ok for you, if you enjoyed the Fallout series. Not much to look at, but it might keep you occupied for the trail period and free month (after you buy the full game of course).

EDIT: ohh and Borderlands, definitely check that one out, not really post-appoc, but looks like it at least, or one giant rubbish dump. Best played with friends though, luckily you can buy it in a multipack if you have some friends that want in on the action.

I can think of Borderlands, Metro 2033, Stalker and Fallout and that's about it. And you have basically played the good ones..

I do remember a pretty good post apocalyptic mode for Operation Flashpoint, that added a wasteland map for you to experiment on, Had great fun with that. Basically I just made loads of towns/ AI / monsters (zombie mod)and messed around. The mod also added cool post-apocalyptic vehicles than needed fuel to work.

To be honest, if you know what your doing and where to find the right mods, you can do anything with OFP.

I second Enslaved, especially if you want something that looks a bit different from the usual post-apocalyptic world with cities over-grown with vegetation.

Hell, Borderlands can be considered more of an RPG than the likes of Stalker.

I guess the Gears of War are somewhat post-apocalyptic.
They're a lot a fun though, regardless of whether it's post-apocalyptic or not.
With Marcus Fenixs rate of blowing up chunks of the planet, if it isn't already post-apocalyptic it will be by the end of it.

Oh bugger.

Try Gears, if you have an Xbox or PC. It's stupid, mindless, incredibly stupid fun, set in a post apocalyptic world ravaged by zombie things.

Not an RPG (though you can upgrade some things), but Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is far and away my favorite Post-Apocalyptic game. The game is absolutely gorgeous to look at and (I think) has some really fun combat. I hate how most post-apocalyptic games are just so damn ugly. You cannot say that about Enslaved. The story is very good in it as well, with some great voice-acting.

Stalker has more of an inventory system than boarderlands, but either way they are both fpsrpgs

An inventory system does not an RPG make. A somewhat complex leveling system and a heavy emphasis on statistics-based gameplay on the other hand...
