Heavenly Sword, while short, was a beautiful fun game (just turn off Sixaxis support when it comes to throwing things. By now, the price on a used copy ought to be about right for a game so short should be. The game is great fun, brilliant characters to fall in love with, and I pray for a sequal. :)
Does it ever explain what "Twing-Twang" is?
Lesbian cunlingus; Yahtzee was right. ;)

Just looking at the rather large stack next to me:

inFamous
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
Killzone 2
Fallout 3
BioShock
Dead Space
Assassin's Creed
Prince of Persia
Resident Evil 5
Grand Theft Auto IV
Army of Two
Mirror's Edge
LittleBigPlanet
Battlefield: Bad Company

A lot of those aren't exclusive, but they're all kick-ass games, so I would definitely try them out.

This too, awesome game (i've not got the DLC yet, so can't comment on that)

burnout paradise is fun too, tho I do tend to agree with Yahtzee, in that you can't play it for a long time.. just a few shorts bursts here and there, for a bit of fun

I would wait for MAG GOW3 and Last Guardian to come out, yay E3.

However if your itching a game to play now get the orange box, its 5 games for about £15 mainly FPS's though.

Basically this, with a few modifications, as noted by the strikethroughs.

EDIT:
Happy Birthday! And some more to add to the list:
- Resistance 1&2
- Valkyria Chronicles
- Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction
- Warhawk (But it's online only, so your mileage may vary)
- Motorstorm/Motorstorm: Pacific Rift
- Noby Noby Boy (Download on PSN)

I would definitely recommend getting Wipeout HD from the PSN store. Uncharted is also a definite must have (hurrah for Naughty Dog's greatness). Erm... FEAR, Call of Duty 4, Ridge Racer 7, Colin Mcrae DiRT, Bioshock, red faction guerilla, can't think of much more. Well I can but these are games I've played personally so can assure are fun.

Surprised no one has said Prototype. its the spiritual successor to the hulk: ultimate destruction and that was good. Also Flower is an excellent download

Why the lack of love for Assassin's Creed? I mean, it's a above-average third-person action game with the best parkour system in a game other than inFamous or Prince of Persia. I mean, the other two are a bit formulaic (though Army of Two is amazing if you have a friend to play co-op with), but I've always regarded AC as a very awesome game.

I personally found Assassin's Creed to be far too repetitive. I mean, make no mistake, the parkour elements and the whole assassination bits were an exhilarating, enjoyable experience, it was all the repetitive drivel in between that chapped my ass. Despite the higher level of realism that these elements provided, I found the whole eavesdrop, pickpocket business to be too clunky to fully enjoy; and these negative opinions were only exacerbated when I had to do them multiple times.

And Army of Two is just personal preference, as the game never really clicked with me =S
