I've had a PS3 for 3 years now. Haven't bought a game for it yet. Hopefully one will come out one day.

Seriously though, best DVD player I have ever owned and worth it just for that. But the only good games which I would buy are cross titles and all my gaming friends are on Xbox live.

Maybe a manhunt game or something would make be buy...if it was console specific

My own collection:
- Katamari Forever; loving it to death.
- Uncharted 1 and 2; also loving it to death, 2's multiplayer is an absolute blast.
- Batman: Arkham Asylum; my 2009 GOTY, so that says enough.
- Street Fighter 4; the DualShock sticks aren't exactly arcade sticks, but they come close enough (for me) to make it an enjoyable game on the PS3
- BioShock 2; loved it.
- Fallout: New Vegas; has it's fair share of bugs and glitches on the PS3, but that's the case for every platform.
- AC:B but I don't need to mention that for this topic.
- Battlefield: Bad Company 2; loving it to death, I'm not noticing a lot of sniper whoring despite reports, maybe that's just for the PS3 or maybe I just get lucky.
- Red Dead Redemption; great game, loved it, haven't tried it online a lot, first time I did I couldn't find anyone to play with, might be a PS3 disadvantage.
- CoD: Modern Warfare 2; loved the singleplayer, became increasingly frustrated with the multi so I don't play it any more.
- Need for Speed: Shift; love the feel of it, best racer I played in ages.
- Castle Crashers; most fun download-only title I've ever played, hard to find people online for it though, might be easier on the 360.
- Shank; fun little snack for between 'big games'.
- WipeOut HD; very fun arcade racer, I can recommend it.
- Resistance 2; very fun shooter, had lots of fun with the campaign but I didn't check out the multiplayer a lot.

And that's it for me. From what I've heard the Ratchet & Clank series is also to be recommended, have yet to check it out but I will soon enough. My little brother also has the God of War HD Collection which is a ton of fun, so I bet God of War 3 is awesome as well. Loved the demo for that anyway.

Also: Demon's Souls is a must, just for the sheer fact that you will never play anything like it. (Bring on Project Dark baby, woo!)

Uuh, no one has mentioned God of War yet? Both the collection and the 3rd one. Also, be on the look out for the ICO games coming.

The Sly Cooper collection is worth a look as well, and if you're in anywhere but North America, you can buy the disc version of the Prince of Persia Trilogy.

My most played PS3 games are Motor Storm: Pacific Rift and Batman: Arkham Asylum... but I'm almost exclusively a PC gamer.

Ninja'd to death.
The Sly collection is $40, for 3 classic PS2 games. Honestly, just get it. Now.
If you're a trophy nut, it has a platinum for each game.

Exclusives?

3D Dot Game heroes. Holy crap I just began playing this after owning it for months and not having time for it, JEEEBUS that game is huge, every minigame can consume you for hours in their own respect, so many things to do, find, explore, redo, and so on. A great (acid) trip in nostalgia land and a great ps3 exclusive title.

Demon's souls as well. And also, even though it's not an exclusive, Pacman Championship Edition DX. it's like 10 bucks, and OH MY GOD this game. It really is Just. That. Good.

Also, I realize I'm totally just on a retro spree right now with all these games.

I enjoyed Batman Arkham Asylum
God of War 3 was badass but for some reason I found it more fun to watch my friend play xD
Fallout New Vegas is what I'm workin on now and it's plenty of fun. If you haven't played Fallout 3 then give either one a shot.
Metal Gear Solid 4 was alot of fun once you get into it and the story starts moving along
Red Dead Redemption is pretty fun as it's sorta like a GTA cowboy western
Bioshock is worth a try and you could get it pretty cheap now
That's all I can think of at the moment!

The Darkness is pretty good, and really cheap at this point, Little Big Planet will blow your mind, because even though it looks like it was made for 2 year olds, you cant help but enjoy it. Finally, Killzone 2. Makes Halo look like crap visually by comparison. and the multiplayer is the bomb.
