Good shooters with AI Skirmish modes?

I enjoy playing games with bots, I also like bots that can be clever. That's why I find myself enjoying games like Black Ops II with it's surprisingly friendly bot mode. I also enjoyed all the Battlefield games...except 3 due to their "co-op" modes. Even if the 1942 variants were kinda brain dead at the best of times.

Anywho, I need more! I'm looking for more games in the third/first-person shooter genre that can offer up a fun, customizeable solo play experience. I'd prefer it if they were more like skirmish games where I just choose a map, amount of bots and play to my hearts content instead of having to download mods or something.

So yeah I hate to make a full topic on this but Escapist hasn't failed in showing me some great games yet. So I thought i'd try.

Also, anyone else ever crank the amount of bots in BF2 to like, 200 and then play a 16 player map with 'em? That was the best.

Timesplitters 2 and 3 are like, ideal for this.
Well okay the AI kinda sucks but it's still really fun.

That was the freakin apocalypse right there dude.

Gotta say, it seems most of the shooters that do have above 'meh' AI don't have real skirmish modes. However even with the totally braindead AI Battlefront 1 and 2 were kickass. There's also Quake 3 and the Unreal Tournament series.

Battlefront games had awesome skirmishes, in addition to 2's Galactic Conquest mode.

Ahh Tmesplitters, how I loved them so. I actually somehow 100%ed the third game (Future Perfect). Still think younger me was insane for pulling it off.

I guess I shoulda listed what I had played since the ones listed so far I do play, but it's always good to be reminded how awesome they are. Thanks for that though. Kind of a shame though, really. I've played pretty much all the games that have good AI Skirmish modes. XD

There needs to be more!
