Evangelion. Although it seemed conceived to last exactly as long as it did, it really left me wanting more. I hated the first couple of episodes but by the end of the third, I was hooked. If they still make anime like this (or Cowboy Bebop), I'm not aware of it. Shows like Afro Samurai are good at really embodying some of the cooler aspects of anime, but they don't really bring it all together like Evangelion did.

Sports Night. It got a second season, but it never really had a chance. Good characters, snappy scripts. A proto-form of West Wing that would follow.

Also Firefly, of course...

Arrested Developement

Hilarious but apparently didn't bring in the numbers.
'Cos the marketing department failed monumentally and the network wouldn't give them a decent time slot. Just like Family Guy and Firefly.

Arrested Development the Movie is currently being filmed, btw. Full cast.
Yeah, I just read an interview with David Cross which is what made me think of it. Presumably they had a lot of left over ideas so we should get a good movie.

Pushing Daisies. That was a wonderful series that was artful, original, and extremely well-written. Did it last? Sadly, after 2 seasons it was done. I guess people don't like quality, they want the same shit they've seen over and over again
Hell yeah, man. It was so original, well written and had some interesting characters.
The only problem with it was, that there were too much explaining. The narrator explained the whole bringing back to life thing more then 20 times very slowly.
p.s it had cleavages

Yeah, should be out sometime next year.

Also, why didn't I think of Invader Zim? I probably see my avatar so much it doesn't mean anything to me anymore.

Also I think its a shame there will be no more Black Books but at least with a small number of episodes, every single one is classic.
I'd love to see another series of Black Books. Such a great show. I had a friend that reminded me of Bernerd, though he wasn't an alcoholic.

I want to see Firefly come back, even if Wash is dead.

I'm rewatching Dark Angel. I forgot how much I liked that show. The ending to the second season was meh though.

Drawn Together. Wouldn't have minded seeing 2-3 more seasons before killing it off.
Hell yes! Still, the movie will be out later this year :D

OT: Bucky O'Hare. Hardly anyone seems to remember it now, but it was an awesome show.

Code monkeys, sure it wasn't the most high brow humor but it was funny. The 8-bit art style really helped it be memorable. Luckly G4 is showing some competence and showing reruns.

Also though it never got going Heat Vision and Jack looked like a fucking awesome show.

Clone High was an awesome show. I got into it years after it was cancelled though which is a shame. They should finish it off and show some of the episodes in the UK too. :(

Eerie Indiana. The only children's show that didn't insult their intelligence.
