Good xbox games I could buy for the 360 ?

I was wondering what older games would you recommend for the 360 ?
All suggestions welcome. This is out of curiosity mostly.

Before any "The Search button" jokes come up I did search and found nothing similar to this .

Psychonauts is available for download through Live, and is worth it. It costs like 1200 of those points (under $20 worth), and I found I got every penny's worth out of it.

I'm writing quite the favorable review for it, just keep extra saves. Because it's an original title on the 360, there's occasional glitches.

Well, It really depends on what kind of games that you like. If you like RPG, I would recomend Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, and Oblivion. For Action I would play Assasin's Creed and Viking. Those are the main genres I play so I do not feel qualified to recomend other games. These are all a bit older but not so old that they would be impossible to find.

ace combat 6 > air combat: good story never really got into the multilayer
ghost recon > tactical shooter: good multilayer and story

Don't buy Fable on the console. Check out Play.com and buy Fable: Lost Chapters instead for a cheaper ammount.

It's a no brainer, a cheaper expansion on a game instead of a lesser, more costly version.

I would say get Resident Evil 5, Gears of War 2, CoD 4 or World at War(it's your choice), Assassins Creed, Left 4 Dead, and there's plenty of more.
If you like rhythm games, I'd go with Rock Band 2.

Crackdown. I played that game to death. It's one of the best sandbox games I've played.

I have to agree with the Prince of Persia trilogy (only Sands of Time works on the 360).
I'd suggest Enclave, Kingdom Under Fire: Crusaders/Heroes, Knights of the Old Republic, Fable: The Lost Chapters, Morrowind, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2/Defiance, Thief: Deadly Shadows, Circus Maximus (it's pretty fun, you ride chariots).
