My FF and Google Chrome browsers all come up with this message every time I go to Google, or anything related.

This is the message: "You may be experincing unusual behaviour of your browser for your search engine and e-mail. You may be using un-licenced software which may cause the disturbance. Please install the bug fixer"

I'm aware experiencing is spelled wrong in that sentence, and Norton detected this bug fixer to be harmful.

Is anyone else getting this? And how would any of you propose fixing it?

I use FireFox and google's working just fine. You may need to restart your browser, delete your cookies and data then defragging your hard drive too. If that doesn't work then your browser just hates.

I smell malware at work. I use both browsers and never ran in to that error message. I think it is something else at work. I suggest running and anti-malware and anti-spyware scan, followed up by an anti-virus scan. Your system may be compromised, and you might be making it worse for yourself the longer you wait. If those don't fix the problem, then it would be time to uninstall both browsers, remove the system files in windows for both, and then re-install. Takes a lot of time, but certainly should cure the problem.

Well you could use a bug fixer like it said, it's either malware or a faulty extension! Run bug fixers and check your extensions, if you still get it reinstall your browsers and if you still get it it's malware.

Running Norton again, I'm looking for something for anti-spyware. My BitDefender has run out on me. :(

I'll Google more to see---damn...

Norton detected the "bug fixer" as something harmful, plus, the message's grammar isn't up to the point to where I would trust it.
No go.

Try using A-Squared and SpyBot (both free programs) to see if that will help with the problem. I noticed someone asked a similar question on Yahoo Answers, but they apparently did not receive a better answer. Hope this helps out, as this does sound like a virus or malware.

The scanner picked up a few viruses, worms, and a hacktool. All taken care of but Google still is being lame. :l

I am using Firefox and I google a lot but it doesn't have this problem

Then again Firefox is a miracle on my computer as it is the ONLY thing that works after a virus destroyed my computer

But yeah, don't trust it and good luck in your quest to get rid of it.

If experienced is spelled wrong in the message, I suspect hacking, malware. I don't know how to get rid of it, but it alerts my suspicions, Google staff wouldn't make a spelling error in something important like this.

As I said, I've cleaned off a lot of bad viruses, worms, hacktools, and that's all a-squared picked up. :( Still getting the message even after a reboot. What the hell?D:

I had to sign up on this site just to post this but the problem is because of your pirated copy of Norton. Some guy said he ran Combo Fix and it fixed the problem but i tried it and i still cant do anything google related

Also you can use the Canadian google at www.google.ca

Thank you so much, sir/ma'am.

EDIT: Is there a way I can still access my YouTube account and Gmail? Neither of them I can get to and I just removed the copy of Norton.
