What would you do for a klondike bar?

I love this thing. However, It can't even answer simple questions, like:
How to kill a vampire?
How to take over the world?

Of course, it knows the meaning of life,(42) as well as the fact that I share the birthday of King Cole. ( I don't know who he is, but he has a cool name)

Can google tell you how to kill a vampire? No, it doesn't even direct you to a site that can.
It directs you to a site that includes the words "how" "to" "kill" "a" "vampire" (after a bit of trickery with the whole page rank business) which presumably can answer your question. The words mean nothing to google.

WolframAlpha actually computes it on the fly. Only the raw data is stored, nearly everything is generated. The fact that it can parse and process so much stuff is pretty fantastic.

Also, Awesome.

I really wish I could apply this website now instead of making humorous queries.

Well, the damned thing is made by the same people behind Mathematica so one would think it'd be good at what it does.

Damn, I'm running out now.

I share mine with Malcolm X
I don't know who that is, so I'm calling it a win for me ;)

Also, for some reason typing in 'you lost' brings you to the page for Mustard Gas. Odd.

I though i would've been a bit obvious, but then again you don't live in the U.S...

It's nice, but it's not comparable to Google because it's not the same thing as Google. It's not a searchbar, it's a fact-search bar. A question bar. It doesn't direct you to places, and such. It's great for what it is, though.

Well, I probably won't mess with it... I used to use Yahoo, but until the image search became filled with shit from flicker, I quit and went to google... and, like with Firefox, if it ain't a piece of shit, why try something new?

As much as I love Google, being that's it's my start up page in Chrome, I find this little search engine to be quite fun to play with.

My question: How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Answer: A woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

That made me smile. The end.

Wow, why is this even being compared to Google? This is like making a thread saying "PS3 just got owned!" talking about how awesome the Star Trek movie is. Sure, the Star Trek movie may have been great (didn't watch it, oh the nerditude) but that doesn't affect the PS3 in the least.

You might make a point saying that it's better than Google at giving answers to questions, but I think nowadays people turn to wikis for that anyway. It might have owned Google if it came out like five, six years ago.

I did find out that the average age of people named "Junior" is 81 years old, so it may have some (useless) use.

Google has a better name.

"wanna find something? Just Wolfram|Alpha it!"

Not as catchy as Googling...
