Streaming games is likely the future. The problem is that we live in the present. The internet infrastructure simply isn't there at the moment to support this. I notice lag with in home streaming, I dread to think what it would be like with streaming games over the internet.

Not with the current infrastructure Skippy.
That was his point...

But I don't think it is the future at all, machine will get stronger and stronger, but we eventually won't be able to perceive much difference. So power will essentially cap but price will keep going down. At some point anyone will be able to purchase a computer strong enough to run even the craziest game for almost nothing and connection speed has a limitation in the form of the speed of light.

This console won't last long; too impractical and not everybody has the best internet aside from the elite few. Did nobody learn anything from the XBONE's huge mistake.

I can barely get a match of Overwatch without my internet crying out in pain. This console is not for me. And I have a feeling its going to flop pretty badly with the reality that most people don't have great internet comes into play.

Aside from other misgivings, I really don't like the name. Stadia. Stadia. I know it's the Latin plural for stadium, but still, something about it just sounds wrong. You could write an article about deadly diseases and replace one name with Stadia, and a lot of people would probably not notice.

"In most patients infected with the Stadia virus, initial symptoms generally do not appear until 48 hours have passed, after which the disease will enter its first stage, characterized by violent bloody diarhea"
