Most violent game?

I'm voting soldier of fortune 2, because of how detailed the body model was in how it took damage.

What would you say is the most violent, gore-filled, bloody game?

I haven't played many gory games, so I'd say Fallout 3.
Although when limbs fell off, it did look like you could put it back by "slotting Tab A into Slot C"
Point is, if someone's head can roll down a hill after being whacked off with a baseball bat, that's pretty gory.

Some gore didn't make sense in that game, u hit a dead scientists body with a crowbar, they burst into a million pieces, but still a great game. Also, my vote of goriest game goes to The Punisher.

Jericho? Doom? I have no clue how you could rate the level of violence.

I'd go with World at War, for the end, after the Russians launch a Katyusha strike on the top of the Reichstag. Also, what Reznov does ten seconds later.

Manhunt 2, but not because of gore. If you play the Wii version it has you do the motions when you're brutally murdering your enemies with glass shards, crowbars, garden sheers, etc. Not to praise Jack Thompson or anything, but the term "murder simulator" is actually pretty accurate with that game.

Carmageddon still gets my vote since it's just meaningless slaughter for points game. Love the game but it was just a racing game with people to run over for more time.

Even though I prefer old school fatalities, I like how MK: Armageddon lets you customize your gore. I love ripping off someone's head and decapitating them with it. The fact that character-specific fatalities were gone made a truly enjoyable system into a dissapointment.

I always get bloody mess as soon as I can.

also, the new Splatterhouse could be pretty good.

I loved that, too.

The first Turok game was pretty gorey when it came out, but not even remotely realistic, eg, you'd shoot a guy in the leg and blood would start spurting from his neck.

Now though F.E.A.R. 2 was fairly bloody, and either of the Chronicles of Riddick games. I mean beating a guys face to a bloody pulp.

But different games qualify for different reasons.

Of course the gore made no sense. I'm no scientist, but I don't think falling 20 feet causes your spine to shoot out of your neck while the rest of your body bursts into pieces.
