There were some times when I didn't agree with Bob's perspective on movies, that's okay though because I like hearing different opinions; conclusions and analysis.
Gosh, I sure wish I could watch some Escape to the Movies.

Yeah, it seems really short-sighted of the Escapist letting Bob go, cutting out most of their movie content in one chop. Still, the good news is that he's continuing on YouTube if you want to watch him over there, for example:
He's also continuing his Agent Carter recaps on his blog. I liked his regular dissection of the MCU, filling in all the blanks and making wild speculations about what's going to happen next, so it's nice to see him still doing that.JoJo said:

I used to feel the same way about bob, but over time it felt like he was just ranting about the same things over and over again to the point where the movies didn't really matter compared to his political ideology. I think he said it best on his blog about leaving:Itchi_da_killa said:

I wouldn't say short-sighted so much as unfortunate. Part of the problem was letting one person dominate their coverage of an entire field of entertainment: with no alternative there was no accountability. The other part of the problem can be summed up in one word: twitter. Over the last couple months I noticed other people started posting hollywood-related news and bob's presence on the site suddenly dropped to only what he was on the schedule for; it was just a matter of time after that.JoJo said:
