Got A PS3 - Need Games Suggestions

Do you have a 360 too or is this your first console this gen? Cuz for PS3 exclusives, I think I'd only recommend the Uncharted and inFamous series...es and Flower. Definitely play inFamous 1 first if you're going to play inFamous 2. There's Demon's Souls, but since there's Dark Souls I wouldn't bother.

But if we're talking all multi-platform console games... it'll be a long list.

inFamous 1 and 2, make it worth owning a PS3, but get yourself the rest of the Uncharted series as well.

well off the top of my head theres the many times mentioned (and rightly so) Valkyria Chronicles also Demons souls and Disgaea 3 and 4 would get my vote oh and the Uncharted series actually dont get Uncharted 1 its not worth it. There are other exclusives ofc but these are my favourite.

So I just got myself a PS3 and I only have Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain, and Little Big Planet 2. I need some PS3 Exclusive game suggestions. I love all forms genres except sports.

Dark Souls isn't exclusive, but I love the hell out of it. Infamous 1 and 2 (2 is somewhat better, but if you do get both, get number 1 first, going from having ice launch, lightning tether and improved thrusters to ... well, not, is a big step down). Also, Ratchet and Clank games are a must (Tools of Destruction is better than Crack in Time, but CiT has better Clank sections).

OT: Warhawk was always a great multiplayer game, and it still has a very solid fanbase.
Aside from that, I own a PS3 myself and I'd say go for pretty much most of the things that have already been mentioned above, but especially Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, Killzone 2/3 and Infamous 2.

Don't just confine yourself to exslusives though, especially since PSN is free. Get some good multiplyer games as well.

It is all a matter of preference. The only 360 exclusives that I'll probably end up getting area Gears of War 2/3 (well, 3 if 2 is any good, 1 was decent, but the best part was done by People Can Fly) and Saints Row.

Did I LIST any games I said were crappy? No. So don't assume. Goldeneye for the N64 MADE the FPS thank you. And I don't have a 360 anymore. Why? Not enough exclusives, constant AAA shit games, and nothing but New Gen influence.

Nintendo of the past made a game because that's what they wanted to do. Revolutionize the gaming industry over and over again with masterpiece after masterpiece (except for the occasional bad game). They really meant something to gamers back then. Now they're just a giant mass of crap, falling into the hole of New Generation, and won't dig themselves out.

MGS4 can be picked up for half nothing these days, definitly worth a look. Im a big god of war fan so also would the series. Im also planning to check out the hd revamp of ICO/SOTC, nad would suggest there work a look if you missed out first time around like me.

Let me break your heart by telling you I was brought up in the (S)NES era (and PC, too, if you need to know) and most N64 games, ESPECIALLY Nintendo's games, were "just" 3D-rehashes of SNES games. Did that make them any worse? Of course not.
Today we got the online platforms Steam, Xbox Live and PSN and we're getting as many fresh little innovative titles he haven't gotten in 20 years, i.e. BEFORE you even started playing video games.
Jeez. All these freshly-turned-18-year-olds who think that they are now part of the "wise adult crowd" and that they've got it all figured out really get on my nerves.

@Topic: MGS4 ONLY if you already played MGS 1-3 and liked them. It's hard to follow the story even if you did play those. I, personally, am waiting for Amy on PSN. I wanna see if this is "Ico: The Horror Game" or if there is more to it. Allegedly, it's no exclusive, but I can't find any info on Xbox Live/Steam releases. Also on PSN: Wipeout HD. I'm no racing game fan myself, but this one is really fun and the soundtrack is great 8)

I'm mostly just pissed off cause I don't see anything good coming from Sony or Microsoft, and Nintendo has sold out to the casual audience. I don't buy the WiiU being part of the hardcore crowd for a second. I guess you can say I'm butthurt, but I have reason to be. I lived when gaming was really for the players, and when things were original and oh so good. I don't see that anymore and I'm generally pissed off.
