make sure it has pictures now randomly select a page with a picture on it if there is more then one select which picture

you will now have to use the content of that picture to defend yourself from a alien (from alien serious) invasion(there are more then a billion of them) here are some guidelines:
if its a blue print you get a blue print same with maps you will just get a map you won't actually get the content of the map
if it's a drawing then you get what the drawing is meant to be
if it is a animal or monster or person etc. you will have complete control of it
if it's a weapon you atomically know how to use it same goes for cars, tanks, planes etc.
if it is a alien you die
if it is a picture of a hand using a spell you can use the spell but if it is a picture of someone using the spell you get the person
