Yh the review was good, BUT on the other hand the game wasn't and I disliked the game for all the reasons stated and also because there was nothing compelling me to keep playing. The game just wasn't on parr with its predecessors. And of course it doesn't help when you hate the protagonist more then any of the antagonists .

I agree with everything except the comment on Niko. i actually really liked him.

my main problem with the game is that it has no lasting appeal. after you beat the story, there's really nothing to do. And i gotta ask, am I the only person against this ever rising trend toward realism? i play games to get away from reality, not dash headlong towards it!


also, very nice style for a review. it was unique, funny, and kept me interested the whole way though. keep practicing and you'll quickly become one of the best reviewers on the site!

Alright I'm just putting this out there, am I the ONLY person on the planet that likes GTA 2 waay more than any of the others? Sure it was unrealistic but it was insanely fun! Fuck realism!

You could rig your car with land mines and blow to hell any cops that happened to be chasing you! Land mines!

There was a proper gang respect system whereby if you got hassled by Russian Mafia all you had to do was head back into Krishna territory, where flame throwers would be unleashed on anyone trying to get you!

The missions were more fun! One I'l always remember is one where you have to steal a firetruck, rig it so that instead of water, it sprays fire and then toast 200 motherfucking Rednecks. Or the jail break mission in which you cause a riot and have to escape from jail using only molotov cocktails.

Aanyway sorry for the rant there, I'm just in a shouty mood I guess...shouty!!
