Naw, bro, Y: The Last Man has been finished for quite some time. Unless you're holding out for the swanky, shiny, velvety, delicious, DeluXe editions, then you can purchase the entire series right now. You're right about The Walking Dead, though. That comic has been sworn to go on for infinity.Actual said:Some great suggestions, I haven't read all those yet so may take your advice.
To the OP, if you're going to read Squee you might like to start with Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, they are stand-alone but I read JTHM first and I think it introduces squee better. Be warned, it's kinda dark and hilarious if you don't take things too seriously.
The problem with Walking Dead and Y: The last man is they're still releasing books so if you're like me you'll be inconsolable until the next one comes out, because they're very good and very more-ish.
I also wanted to second the fellas who said Scott Pilgrim and Kick Ass. Kick Ass already has an amazing movie based on it, and I'm very hopeful for the SP movie which will be out soon. Word of caution SP is comedy relationship thing, with ridiculous kung-fu thrown in. it's great but can seem a little weird if you're expecting standard comic book stuff.
Also, two more things: Kick-Ass Sucked-Booty. The comic, I mean. It left me with a depressing feeling and I wanted to puke darkness. Of course, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.
