I've seen Eric Clapton live, that was pretty awesome and I was pretty glad I went and saw him.

As well as that the only other notworthy acts I've seen are The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Keys, Gomez, Dr. Dog, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Powderfinger.

Other then that, I've seen a lot of local Melbourne bands of varying quality.

At a festival earlier this year, I saw Deftones, Rammstein and Tool. Probably one of the best ever festival line-ups ever. Rammstein have THE greatest stage show known to man. So much fire and explosive goodness :3 Tool are, well, Tool. They're amazing. Also seen Parkway Drive, they're great live, so much energy, and the support acts (Confession and Miss May I, among others) pull off some crazy stuff - for example, Confession got most of the standing area crowd to lie face down on the ground halfway through a song. Amazing.

Wish I had been able to see Nine Inch Nails though...

I haven't been to many live gigs, unfortunately, but I did see these at Donnington/Download this year and last year:

Korn
Def Leppard
Thin Lizzy
AC/DC
Megadeth
Slash
Rage Against the Machine
Killswitch Engage
Motorhead (only a bit)

They were all great, but I'd say AC/DC and Megadeth were the best; Slash, Thin Lizzy and Rage Against the Machine, too.

Not a regular concert-goer, but I've seen:

Metallica
System of a Down
KRS-ONE
Pantera Slayer, went with my youngest sister.
John Legend
Alicia Keys, went with my two middle sisters.
Opgezwolle (dutch hiphopband) a couple of times.

Probably a few that I forgot, but these I remember best.

Ac/DC, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath (with Dio), Motorhead (twice so far), Steel Panther (again, twice), Airbourne, Paul and Storm, and, in 2 days time, Iron Maiden will be added to the list
