Great, Blizzard made the possible inpossible

Earlier today the thought of starting to play wow crossed my mind and when i got back from school i decided to activate my account again.
However... Blizzard rather recently introduced the Battle.net accounts that had to be merged with your normal World of Warcraft account. However when i tried to merge the two accounts (battle.net and Wow) it said "Login invalid" so i thought...
Perhaps the password is wrong.
A few minutes later at the password reset window i get the error message from the check box.
"Please login with your Battle.net account to reset the password"
Witch leaves me in an never ending circle of "go here and do that"

Anyone knows how to fix this?

And please no "Wow Sux0r l0l fag" Posts

Since no one is reading my posts anyway, I have a WOW account, I have a Battle.Net account. But i can't Merge them and i can change the password on my normal WOW acc to merge it.

Seriously though, just create a new character.

Create a battle.net account, Then add your WoW account to your Battle.net account, Then login with your battle.net username and password.

welllllll wow suc... sorry, but honestly for everything you could try nothing will beat picking up the phone and ringing them. I've done it once or twice over the years and they were very helpful.

Create a battle.net account, Then add your WoW account to your Battle.net account, Then login with your battle.net username and password.

they have a very obvious button for it in your Battle.net account (or maybe less prominent now, since most have already merged.

The obvious answer would be to contact Blizzard Support.

You have to use the email connected with that battle.net account as your account name from now on, not your old account name.
