Keep in mind I've never actually used this before, so for all I know it could be terrible, but to me it seems like the best possible compromise between the M+K and a regular controller.

Pinpoint mouse accuracy, with a joystick instead of WASD. At the very least it seems like a neat idea.

The nunchuck part reminds me of the Wii's controller, which is also pretty good in my opinion.

I've been getting more excited about X Rebirth even though I've never been into space sims before. I'm currently thinking of getting a decent joystick to compliment the game and just imagine cruising through space using one of these:

And that's one of the cheap ones.

My first and only controller but I can't think of any criticism for it. And it looks gorgeous.

The Xbox 360 controller is probably the only one I really liked, rather than learned to live with. Great grip, good placement of buttons and sticks and awesome for shooters. Really wish Sony would've done something simular for PS3. Bought a new controller by some non-Sony company, that looked like the 360 one, but couldn't use it for long before Sony blocked all hardware that wasn't theirs...

Gonna have to go with the 360 here. Most other controllers just seem to small for me (and I have pretty small hands for a dude), even the Wavebird feels a wee bit to cramped sometimes (and that's my #2 controller). I usually just use mouse and keyboard being a PC gamer and all but when I play a racing game or platformer where I actually need a controller its always the 360.

I want...

Also, while the Xbone looks like its going to be a big steaming pile of doggy doo, I am interested to see if the new controller feels any better, even if its only in a few places here or there. And fix the f**king D-Pad already!

I am going to have to say that the best method of control I have used for games is the keypad and mouse. Though this requires a solid surface to work on, so it has other problems. Also most good games are designed for the input method they are played on, so usually just fell best when played with that. As for console controllers, I have to though my vote in with the 360, but I did love the way the wii mote had the two parts actually separated. This way you could relax your arms on the sides of the chair (when not actually motion contorting).

Also for those of you not sure what I mean by keypad here is an example.
