So i got a friend of mine who just texted me about 20 minutes ago saying he's in a college course where part of the curriculum is teaching you how to use a mouse for a computer...

I have to re-teach my dad how to check his e-mail every month and "oh, while you're here son, can you fix the DVD player, the surround sound isn't working, oh and upstairs the video won't record, only play, oh an ....".
How do they break stuff and forget these things so fast?! "I just wanted to clean that wire, it was looking a bit dusty." is the answer I normally get.

A friend got an A+ in a course called "Listening to Classical Music". Apparently you don't lose points for falling asleep in class, and the course is exactly as the title suggests. He's in dentistry now. (facepalm not for his A+, but for the existence of the class)
A girl went on a bike ride with us. While going down a slight hill (like, 1 degree decline, or incline, depending where you want to take the measurement), she somehow manages to slam into the back of a parked car. Parked as in, not turned on, with nobody in it. Ended up with a few cuts, bruises, and a minor concussion. Good thing she was wearing a helmet.

I always have one of these moments when I talk with enviromentalists and pro-renewable energy people. They just can't resist saying 'we could use windpower to supply all our energy'.

The local residents might have well-founded ideas, but when you shunt a camera in their face, they panic and blurt out something stupid about a current news topic
I.E.
BBC News: Will you vote Labour in the upcoming elections?
Man: Uh...They just fill their pockets?
No jokes, he said it in the unsure tone of a kid answering a question at school by guessing

i remember in a mmm... "highschool" class (or lycée) the teacher had finished the year's program, and we all were bored to death,

It's even worst when you're doing in high school for college credit (that's what I did) during the whole year when the course only lasts 5 months in college (you learn word as well as excel, powerpoint, and the other thing I forgot about). In my class, I went around helping those who didn't know what the hell to do (due to lack of attention during class or came in late) and taught more than the teacher.ThePostalDude said:
