Team Fortress 2. I want to have fun in it, but it's too fast paced and annoying.

Counter Strike.

Mass Effect 2. I absolutley loved the first one, but the second is pretty crap.

Left 4 Dead 2. Again, loved the first one, but the second one is crap.

Any Halo games

The Gears of War games. They're not that bad, but they're definetly not as good as they seem to be made out.

Batman: Arkham Asylum. Though i haven't played it, i did watch a playthrough of it to see what the fuss was about, and i didn't find it particularly interesting.

They're the only ones i can think of off the top of my head.

Half Life 2. It was a good game, but it wasn't the best game ever made in my opinion.

when it ENDED
i'm still waiting for them to patch that up and let me play the rest of the story mode, but i'm not holding my breath

Shadow of the Colossus.

Go ahead, flame me. Not saying it isn't the best thing since sliced bread (but it isn't), I just didn't like it.
You're not alone. I'd heard lots of great things about it but it just didn't do it for me. I like the concept, but in the end it got too repetitive and I just gave up.

Also, and I realize this is a petty complaint, I can't stand the main character's design. Don't get me wrong, I get tired of the gritty, steroid junkie protagonists that populate most games these days, just like anyone else, but come on. I don't think he could look like more of a pussy if he tried. I mean, for Christ's sake, he wears a hair band.

Halo.
The original Halo:CE. Even people who hate Halo 2 and 3 say that Halo 1 was a masterpiece, but I just don't see it.

I mean, it's certainly a competent game and introduced many innovative features, some good, some bad, but as an entertaining experience, it just completely failed to draw me in no matter how many chances I gave it.
I agree with you good sir. I've never seen what's so entertaining about that game, sure, it's good and everything, but I never liked it.

Portal was really underwhelming. It was cool at first, but halfway through I was bored out of my mind. It's the video game equivalent of In the Aeroplane Over the Sea: Hyped to hell and back, but spectacularly mediocre.

This is my response almost exactly. After the novelty of finding new ways to use portals wore off, I decided I had little incentive to tediously advance through one room using portals so I could get to another room to tediously advance through.

My brother told me that the ending was worth it though. So I looked it up on youtube.

tl;dr: portal

The Sims games and the whole Halo series. Maybe it's just me and my inability to figure out the fucking XBox controller, but CoD on the XBox was kinda boring for me. Don't ask which CoD it was, cause I can't remember and I wasn't really paying attention.

Look, I hope I don't get flamed for this, but I'm just going to come out and say it.

After a while, I gave up on it and went back to Perfect Dark.
I personally have to agree with you, I really didnt like Halo either. I felt that Half-Life was a far superior game despite being a bit older.

Bioshock has pretty weak gameplay, a one-trick pony of a story and isn't as politically-deep as it probably likes to think it is.

Also, the pacing is so bad I wanted to hang myself. The second was pretty good though.

I'd also like to say that there is fuck all that's special about Modern Warfare's multiplayer.

Oh, and Fable 2. I mean Jesus fuck, I've seen people say that pile of shit is better than fucking Oblivion!
