Future Soldier is god-damn heresy if you grew up with the original Ghost Recon. We somehow went from a highly tactical fps with realistic gear and an emphasis on tactics and stealth to Ghost Warfare 2: Why does nobody notice the giant Fuchikoma rolling down the street? In the original Ghost Recon you maybe fired half of your magazine per mission if you did it right, now you have fucking cyborgs running around the battlefield shooting lasers and using shoulder mounted rockets the size of toasters to destroy T-72s.
There is nothing of my beloved Ghost Recon left in the series. Ubisoft pushed the limit with GRAW and now they've gone way past the line. I and many others like me will not be giving Ubisoft our business when Future Soldier comes out.

As much as I loved the Metro 2033 game, I'd like to see one made that is a lot closer to the book. Metro 2033 is easily one of my favorite books ever, it has such an intense feeling of despair and hopelessness to it, with a very small chance of hope at the end of the tunnel...
And I really wish Valve would stop f**king around with steam on macs/linux and teamfortress/L4D and get Half-Life 2: Episode 3 finished at last. They seem to have forgotten the whole shorter, cheaper games made with a smaller time between them promise they made on starting the episodes!
It's really getting on my nerves now.....

I did grow up on the original ghost recons where you couldnt even see your gun but the series has changed completely long before future soldier. GRAW and GRAW 2 had prety much nothing of the orignal series in them but I still liked them even if they were different. Im pretty sure things were getting shaky after summit strike anyway.Scolar Visari said:
